Nice, but pointless. Police and prosecutors never pay a single dollar in damages or do a single day in jail for facts like his.

This is why we need tougher laws to hold false accusers and their accomplices fully accountable. There is no excuse for this cop,
randian-sometimes you can sue the cops and government and get a settlement but ultimately the taxpayers end up paying for it.
Of course false accusers should be held criminally liable and it should be a felony especially if a man has be arrested and charged.
You can sue the false accuser but the sort of female who makes false allegation is judgement proof and doesn't have a potto piss in so it's just a waste of more time and money for no return. You have to hope that the false accuser can be tied into some business or organisation that has money and esp. insurance money so that you may actually collect.
We all need to compensate victims out of the money from crime victim's funds since what happened to them is a crime.
There should also be some insurance protection for men who are damaged by false allegations (perhaps as part of a homeowners or renter's policy which are package policies and can just as well be written to cover this)
Sure, you're paying the premium to insure yourself against another's maliciousness or negligence, sort of like when you pay an additional premium for people who have no auto insurance or are underinsured, but it may be worth it.
