Thug beats man over false allegation of sex assault

I don't understand why the "thug" in the headline isn't charged with attempted murder, as his comment to the police after being arrested indicates that is what he was trying to accomplish. I'm glad to see that the victim in this case hasn't been named.  Yet another -- in a long line -- of overreactions to a rape accusation that end badly for an innocent human being.

HERE IS THE NEWS STORY:

A THUG beat a drunken man in a "sustained, prolonged and repeated attack" because he falsely believed his victim had sexually assaulted a teenage girl.

After being arrested for the assault, John Brocklehurst told police he was "proud of what he had done" and asked if he had killed his victim, Derby Crown Court was told.

The man, who was asleep in bed when Brocklehurst started punching him, suffered serious injuries to his head and chest.

He was also left with a broken rib which punctured his lung following the attack at a house in Ripley in November 2010.

The court heard that the victim had been for a night out in the town and had drunk "around 10 pints" when he got to a house where some friends lived.

John Dee, prosecuting, said the man knew the occupants of the house and asked if he could stay over and fell asleep in a girl's bedroom.

Mr Dee said there was an allegation that the victim sexually assaulted the girl which "had never been any subject of any charge".

Mr Dee said: "It is the Crown's case that Mr Brocklehurst decided to exact revenge.

"His victim was subject to a violent assault to both his face and chest.

"Exactly how many blows were issued was not clear.

"During the assault the victim phoned a friend who told the police that all he could hear was him screaming on the end of the phone.

"After his arrest, when the defendant was being transferred to the police station, he (Brocklehurst) said he was proud of doing it and asked if he had killed him (the victim)."

Brocklehurst, 21, of Cowsley Road, Chaddesden, pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm.

His previous offences including four robberies, an attempted robbery and failing to surrender to custody.

The court heard that, since the attack, the victim's marriage had collapsed and he suffers from post-concussion syndrome, which was historically called shell shock.

Jailing Brocklehurst him for 15 months, Judge Hilary Watson said: "You falsely believed this man had sexually assaulted a young woman and this enraged you.

"He was lying in bed effectively comatosed, having had something like 10 pints to drink.

"While he was lying there you set about his face and body with a vengeance.

"This was a prolonged, repeated and sustained attack."

Clive Stockwell, for Brocklehurst, said his client was remorseful about the assault.

Mr Stockwell said: "He does not begin to try and justify his behaviour and what he did that night.

"There was an allegation made (of a sexual assault) and he believed there was truth in it and took what to him was revenge."

Wow! Thanks for posting, Steve. One of the worst stories we've reported here in a while.

Agreed Pierce.

Another one to add to the list when someone says, "false rape/sexual assault allegations don't really hurt anyone."

And I love the, "he's remorseful" line by his attorney. Really counselor? Cause it appears that he was hoping he had killed the innocent man he attacked.

Apparently, now drinking and not being able to physically defend ourselves from a FRA vengeance seeker is something else we now need to be aware of.

One of my health conscious male friends who is vegan recently decided to stop drinking beer too. When I asked why beer, he responded that beer is high in - would you believe - estrogen! Yup, estrogen in the flesh and in your drinking glass is a danger to you.

Have people noticed that when a man assaults another man in the name of "justice", then the assaulter more likely than not is already a violent criminal?

I find it disturbing that violent criminals try to improve their stature in society by attempting to appear as being "protectors of women and children" through assault on other men.

Everyone should be aware of this White Criminal Knight Syndrome

I went to the police after being threatened for my life; after a sick violent bitch told these thugs i raped her.
The perverted Arm of the law said, well, come back if they do anything like like you.
I believe this now "Perverted Arm of the law" is a result of a combination of perversions.
1. Not holding violent women equally accountable under the law has had the overall effect of "Expanding the violent matriarchy".
2. Perverting American law enforcement by only offering "Extra Pork Bloating dollars" for male arrests, which is a fundamental perversion, with many collateral consequences.

Theres alot of federal pork bloating dollars to be harvested from "Matriarchy management".
Just like fishing for Stryper in the ocean, in order to harvest more future stryper, the breeder fish are put back into the ocean if one is caught. Same thing with American law enforcement practices of "Farming matriarchal violence", as when violent women are in the car with a bunch of drug dealing crack heads, the men are arrested and the women are stripped of their drugs and told to go home. This is an act of "Farming the violent matriarchy" just like releasing the breeder fish back into the sea.
I don't believe American law enforcement that are "Farming the matriarchy" are going to correct this themselves, as they are the beneficiaries of all this violence, As they get more and more federal pork bloating dollars to play cops and robbers.
It will take a citizen initiative to break this perversion of American law enforcement, and start to tame this violent matriarchy by no longer "Farming the violence" and start to hold violent criminal women equally accountable.

I agree entirely with Anon 9:26

"Farming Violence", "matriarchy management"

are excellent terms. The MRM has to get better at finding phrases like that. They are powerful. eg

"Joe Biden uses VAWA to farm Domestic Violence for votes, power and influence."

15 months for attempted murder and serious long term bodily harm.

For a guy with a criminal record, that should get no reductions like a first offender.

Now let us compare to other crimes that carry higher penalties:

if it was a woman, and he had fondled her in her drunk stupor state (sexual assault or rape)

If it was a totally drunk woman, and the woman herself had initiated sex with him. (rape)

If he had a nude photo of his 16 year old girl friend (over the local age of consent)

If he had any other nude photos of an adolescent

If he did not pay child support

Is there something wrong about our laws and courts?

Cruel child porn laws kill, "destroying lives unnecessarily” (Judge Jack B. Weinstein)

Exactly. It's all about exploiting men, truth be damned.
