The despicable Audrey Ference: "Why I Will Always Side With Rape Accusers Before Knowing the 'Facts'"
She was "pretty sure" Greg Kelly was guilty.
She's not sorry about calling Dominique Strauss-Kahn a "rapist."

Audrey Ference is a despicable nitwit.
She tells the story of a male "friend" who was badly harmed by a false rape claim. "I really do understand the harm a false rape accusation can do to a person," she writes. "It can ruin someone's life." But then she exclaims, with no support beyond her wildly uninformed, politicized imagination: "But it still does not compare to the damage that rape can do."

And if you want to see less extreme examples of the carnage false rape claims can cause to a man's health, job, business, marriage, education, social relationships -- just spend a few weeks paging through this blog. That's how long it will take you to go back three or four years. No crime, short of murder, is capable of doing more harm to an innocent person than a false rape claim.
Audrey Ference goes on: "And unfortunately, rape is more common by a factor of hundreds"
Excuse me while I bang my head up against the wall.
Audrey Ference obviously knows more than a leading feminist legal scholar, who has acknowledged the following irrefutable fact: ". . . the statistics on false rape accusation widely vary and 'as a scientific matter, the frequency of false rape complaints to police or other legal authorities remains unknown.'" Audrey Ference proceeds to claim that the New York Post's treatment of the accuser in the Greg Kelly case is the norm.
In fact, the Post's coverage is so terribly aberrational, it's actually news, in and of itself, today. And because it's news, I fully expected this sort of backlash from someone like Audrey Ference.
No, Audrey Ference, THIS is the norm.
How about this, you incarnate disgrace to womanhood: instead of siding with accusers, side with the truth.
Oh, I forgot. To people like Audrey Ference, the truth isn't good enough. It's trumped by the "women-are-always-victims" metanarrative.

It is easy to dismiss these women as supporting "guilty until proven innocent" - which is clearly wrong-headed, but there is in fact something more going on.
If a man accused his wife or girlfriend of assault...
What would Audrey Ference believe?
Would she immediately believe the accuser - the man?
Or - would she wonder what it was he did to "deserve" it?
Or would she think the whole thing is a lie?
I have met women like this.
They are not "just" taking the side of the accuser, they are in fact, unconditionally taking the side of the woman.

But I'm looking in to it :)
My petition would be for anonymity for both accused and accuser and use this current case is an example of why we need it.
Its a "feminist inflamation".

Um, not sure how you got that out of anything stated in the post above, nor anything ever stated by the proprietors of this site.
Perhaps you may wish to look into adult literacy classes. If you were to learn to read, it might well help you to understand what WAS said, as opposed to what you ASSUME was said.
What is being argued by Archivist (aka Pierce Harlan) is that is wrong to automatically assume that when a woman accuses a man (Audrey Ference is careful to try to appear gender-neutral, but it’s a safe bet that she really only means when men are the accused) that the named man is therefore guilty.
Nowhere does he argue that the accuser (or, in the cases of actual crimes, the victim) should be assumed to be guilty before any evidence is gathered and an investigation undertaken. It is only when it is known that an allegation is false that the accuser would be considered to be guilty of anything. And, when it is apparent that the crime actually occurred (and either a confession or conviction comes about), then the accused will be viewed as being guilty.
No one has ever stated that anyone should assume accusers (or true victims) are criminals.
Find someone who is literate in the English language and have them help you read the post above, and with that persons help, try to find where what you have assumed was stated actually was. Here’s a hint: you won’t find it, because it isn’t there.
The reason she is saying this kind of thing is probably that she wants to become a high court job and thinks publicly expressing this kind of thing will help her get the job.
Ugh, articles such as this really show men were we rank in the world as far as women are concerend. The author doesn't bother me so much, the comments from every woman on that thread did.
Audrey is indeed a despicable woman, but the others are faceless women who we meet and speak to everyday in our lives. We don't know who they are or where they work, but it's disheartening to realize they are out there.
To hear the likes of 'Roxy' justify this tripe and undermine men's issues while not even trying to understand I think is frightening.
To actually hear a woman state that they have seen the effects of a false rape claim but think that the end justifies the means AND have other women support it?

I remeber reading here about a year ago, a 17 year old boy was beat to death in his sleep with a baseball bat over a false rape accusation. Im begining to think many women are more "Matriatchally callous" than men are.

And by the way, her argument makes absolutely no sense even if you assume that the suffering of men doesn't matter. WOMEN SUFFER MORE FROM FALSE ACCUSATIONS THAN THEY DO FROM RAPE.
That may come as a shock to these feminists, but think about it: these falsely accused men have wives, sisters, mothers, daughters.
Who would you rather be: the mother of a falsely accused boy who may end up in prison for life based on nothing more than the word of a liar, or a woman who had just been raped?
When A 17 year old boy gets beats to death by a baseball bat in his sleep over a false rape accusation, only a true American matriarch would consider this as "No harm is ever done from false rape accusations".
