"a representative from the Public Prosecution Service withdrew the charges as the case did not meet the test for prosecution".
I wonder what that could mean,-Perhaps that there are powerful women's groups in or near bessbrook that would throw a fit if anyone is prosecuted for making a false rape accusation.

No, Billy, we have no basis to assume corruption in this case.

No, Archivist, I wasn't assuming corruption,I said PERHAPS,Not assuming corruption,Simply stating that's a possibility-We've seen it happen before haven't we?

Billy, you are absolutely right. Too often we've seen it. And yes, you did say "perhaps." My guess is that it happens more than we'd like to think.
