Yesterday, MSNBC boldly stated that my state of Oregon has the second highest incidence of rape or sexual assault. The devil is in the details. It was based on the survey with 27% of women reporting or is it claiming that they were the victims of a an actual rape or an attempted rape. The first thing that came to my mind are the reports and claims of hysterical females in the 1600s in Salem of witches among the people.

Unfortunately the opposite seems true,Sexual assault stats aren't looked at at all rather then more,Sad but not surprising.
