The persons who speak out the most on sexual assault issues are, ironically, among the most extreme and irrational voices on the subject. Not surprisingly, many are allied with the "Occupy" movements. I've highlighted pertinent portions of Occupy Baltimore's "Sexual Offense Policy," which illustrates the extremism, and which would be laughable if these people weren't serious about it:
Occupy Baltimore Sexual Offense Policy
Sexual harassment is defined as any unwanted commentary or physical contact. It is the victim's prerogative to classify any action as sexual harassment, and to decide whether or not the harasser be ejected from Occupy Baltimore. If the victim chooses to enforce the ejection policy, the harasser will be ordered not to return until the Safer Spaces Committee in conjunction with the Mediator’s Committee has reviewed the incident on the following day.
Instances of sexual abuse and assault will be handled according to the expressed desires of the victim. The Security and Medical teams are equipped with a list of resources, including contact information for the police, hospitals, sexual assault hotlines, and women's shelters. In these instances, #Occupy Baltimore welcomes the involvement of the Baltimore City Police and encourages victims to report crimes. We also recognize that the U.S. Justice System is flawed, especially when it comes to cases of sexual assault. If for any reason the victim feels uncomfortable with police involvement, their wishes will be respected.
Anyone reporting sexual assault, with or without police involvement, will have the support of the Occupy Baltimore community. This includes but is not limited to medical assistance, transportation, protection, investigation, mediation and conflict resolution, and emotional support and counseling.

"The victim""The victim""The victim"!-Why,Why i ask must people use that term--Much less an official POLICY!-I worry for mankind when tax protests become a feminist hunting ground for rape & harassment.
So people in a public space get to unilaterally decide to expel someone else from a public space? How does that make sense? Oh, right, the alleged victim gets to claim they feeeeel threatened and call the police.
at least there's no man hate in that statement (apart from the shocking lack of logic) which makes a refreshing change.
These federally funded perversions of law enforcement statistics have far reaching consequences, and one is its empowering a "Gender community", that really should not be that powerfull.
gender-feminist inspired perversions to our legal system are destroying the integrity of our system.
Fostering and enabling girls to make false rape accusations for such trivialities such as "they don't want to pay their cab fare" is making a kangaroo court out of our American judicial system.
I don't believe those in American law enforcement are going to fix this themselves.
All this federal pork for perverting the statistics was a boon for law enforceemnt 25 years ago, now these perversions have grown into a culture of false accusations against men and boys that are costing law enforcment much more than they are getting from the feds.
Woah. Why not just make the victim the Judge and Jury at the trial as well?
Well look on the bright side- having all these ridiculous policies is a very effective way to put and and to what might otherwise be a productive enterprise. I can assure the "victims" that the employers for jobs that went to other countries don't give a shit about your "feelings"
Please, as if this had to be asked in this digital age, make sure you back this crap up.
There has to be a record for when they cry "rape!"
And then when its its not as politically convenient to cry rape in public, we can use this against them.
OH GOD I DIDN'T WANT TO HAVE THAT RANDOM SEX.
oh. wait. i did.
The World had gone mad.
It will be interesting to see how they can possibly enforce this. I don't see that they can ask the police to evict someone for "tresspassing". If they resort to violence, the real police will be on the side of the accused "rapist".
The "occupiers" are trespassers in the first place, so how can they have authority to evict anybody?
It appalls me that the "occupations" have been allowed to go on this long. If they were "occupying" MY neighborhood, I'd get a fire hose and turn it on them full force until they all go away. If they want to escalate matters further, make my day.
