I thought it was great that the journalist lady talked to Dr. T for this piece.
She got dangerously close to giving men a fair shake. It was refreshing to see a woman admitting that men get a raw deal sometimes.
She used the phrase "we tell boys to 'suck it up'". I see this argument frequently, with "we" usually referring to "society" (really it is mostly "we" as in " we women").I wonder how many of the people that say this are PHMT-feminists who say this out of one side of their mouth and call MRA's "whiners" out of the other side for legitimately voicing their opinions? Just a random thought.
However, I was really disappointed to see her use evidence by citation on the "false claims of rape are rare" part of her article. She gives a link, and the link redirects to an article where some random chick says false rape claims are rare.
Truth be told, false rape claims are not rare. To be honest, I'm surprised they aren't more common than they are,12-50% of all rape claims. There are no consequences and only rewards for making them.
All in all, though,I had to look twice to make sure I was reading this article right because it was on HuffPo,Manhater HQ.I suppose that's a good thing.
The old "Equality feminism" of 30 years ago, used to attack all men equally, and the modern "gender-feminism" attacks males because they are hetero-sexual. Is it sane or even constitutional for a nation to "pork bloat" gender-feminism with state and federal dollars, if that modern "gender-feminism" uses the funds to specifically targeting heterosexuality?? It just seems bizarre.
Afor, i totally agree that language is important. Gender-feminists own the terms matriarchy and patriarchy and have perverted those terms for their "Empowerment". FOR EXAMPLE...Gender-feminists have conditioned society to believe that "violence is patriarchy", when in reality 85% of all repeat violent offenders currently in Americas prisons come from the segment of society where there are simply no men or ???patriarchs??? around at all. So the truth is that violence seems to be more of a sign of "matriarchy" than any sense of the term patriarchy. Its time to "take back" the terms matriarchy and patriarchy.
All of these things are happening against men who are really masculine and honest. Some of male hypocrites and some of men who are not really masculine are trying to control the society as they want. They are using their feminist women to do this as well.
Every civilized society must strive to (1) eradicate heinous crimes by punishing the offenders, and (2) insure that the innocent aren't punished along with the offenders. Too often, the second half of that balance is omitted from the public discourse. Accusations of serious criminality, especially murder and sexual wrongdoing, too often are their own convictions in the high court of public opinion because the stigma is so severe. It is our mission to raise awareness about the injustices suffered by persons wrongly accused of serious criminality. Protecting the innocent from unjust harm as a result of a wrongful accusation is a hallmark of a civilized society.

And saddest of all, there are very few men left with the guts to write this article.

Turn it on it's head...
"False rape claims are rare"
Untrue, and misleading to boot.
"Genuine rape claims are rare"
True, and not misleading in any subtle use of language either.
Genuine rape claims are a small are rare subset of all rape claims.
Use of language is important.
For the UK
"Only 6% of rapists get convicted"
false and misleading to boot.
"Only 6% of rape accusations are genuine"
true, and not misleading in any subtle use of language either

Men -- normal men, I mean; not gays or manginas -- are society's scapegoats, and toilets.
And some of us are really, really sick of it.
