From the Atlantic Wire:
This week's media blitz by the maid accusing Dominique Strauss-Kahn of rape has seriously jeopardized her own case, sources at the Manhattan district attorney's office tell the New York Post. In a move that many legal analysts described as risky, Nafissatou Diallo shared her rape allegations against the former International Monetary Fund chief with Newsweek and ABC News. "There's so many inconsistencies now it's incredible," said a source. "It's like multiple choice—pick a version." At issue is a conversation Diallo said she had with DSK during their encounter. She told Newsweek that when he emerged naked from the bathroom she said, "Oh, my God. I'm so sorry." And he responded, "You don't have to be sorry. You're beautiful" as he grabbed her breasts. The tell-all interview includes more dialogue between the two, but this conflicts with statements Diallo gave to a hospital counselor hours after the alleged attack in which she said he did not speak. Post sources say there are "many" other discrepancies but they were not mentioned in the article.
According to The New York Times, the decision by Diallo and her legal team to appear in print and on television signals that prosecutors may be giving up on the case. "Lawyers not involved in the case said it was virtually unheard of for someone alleging sexual assault in a highly publicized case to come forward — name, face, and all — to speak to the news media while prosecutors were still investigating," reports The Times. Raymond R. Castello, a defense lawyer and former deputy chief of the Manhattan district attorney's trial division, says, "My expectation is that she’s now speaking to the press because she has an expectation that the prosecution is not going forward with her case.”

Mr Strauss's lawyer said it best, that the American media circus is an attempt to "inflame" the public.
It seems to me that the false rape society has been saying the same this for years.
Maybe there will be a day, when these media outlets will have to close their doors because folks no longer buy their "inflammatory" positions.
There are already movements around that are keeping tabs on the most egregious media outlet offenders, and with the internet, i believe they are only getting stronger.
You Know what folks...Im going to start demanding the "new york post" instead of the "New york times".
Is her team seeking to pressure the DA to prosecute and DSK to settle financially out of court? Are her 'handlers' planning with her to interest the public so that she can later write a book on her experience or be a paid speaker?
Either way, are we now entering an era when a male political candidate now can be side-slapped to not running or losing an election with a false accusation of rape?

Sounds familiar?
It should. It much like what happened here in Colorado in the Kobe Bryant case. As the criminal case started to unravel (credibility issues with the accuser, and “problematic” multiple DNA hits), the accusers legal team turned their efforts towards the trial by press, leading up to what would have been a civil action, had Kobe not “folded” and paid her off to go away and shut up.
She's trying to create a mob lynching, so she can collect financial rewards.
The media cooperating in this lynching should be held accountable.
Actually, what she's doing makes perfect sense -- if you're a pathological liar who is on the verge of losing your only shot at superstardom.
Firstly, there is no case left to "jeopardize." The case is already deader than year-old dogshit and everybody but the media and the retarded guy who lives in the broom closet in the Manhatten Prosecutor's Office knows it.
Secondly, she is well aware that NO MATTER HOW MANY CRIMES SHE COMMITS, SHE WILL NEVER BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. No one has even asked the obvious question of when she will be charged for the illegal acts she has obviously committed!
Thus it is perfectly logical for her to try to cash in while she still can by using the strategy that has worked her entire worthless life: by continuing to lie, in spite of having already been revealed as a fraud.
The fact that she is even being given this platform from which to spew her filth proves that she has, in a sense, already won.
Or to be it another way, for the benefit of those who still can't fathom Diallo's behavior (and most of us who read this blog regularly already understand it from bitter experience):
If you could play a slot machine without sticking a coin in first, wouldn't you keep yanking that arm until the management threatened you with bodily harm if you wouldn't stop?
And if you then learned that the management was in a coma and couldn't stop you (because you had a vagina), wouldn't you pull on the arm with even greater zeal?
DSK is a powerful man.
If we could contact him, and encourage him to sue various media outlets for slander (liable)?
And, sue the crap out of the accuser as well.
Sue the Hotel.

There is no such thing as a powerful man when it comes to false rape accusations.
Kobe Bryant, Al Gore, DSK, Joe Average -- we're all equal when it comes to being a helpless target. When have you ever heard of a man successfully suing over this shit?

I’m not trying to be snarky here, because it is rare – but we did see one case of it recently: Falsely accused man awarded $852K
It proves that it can be done.
And Ben Roethlisberger has (thus far) successfully thwarted a False-Rape-extortion-by-civil-court attempt.
Perhaps the tide is turning a bit – at least for those with the money to defend themselves and/or file their own law suits.
Newsweek is "profiteering" from inflaming the public against an innocent man.
There has to be some liability here??
Slwerner: sure, but how is DSK going to collect from her even if he wins? And by filing suit against her he would severely damage his own interests by dragging this out in the media (when he could be running for the French presidency).
It's like saying to a suicide bomber: "You made the mess, now clean it up!" The lyin' ho-bag has nothing to lose.
I will try to contact him.
I am sick of media outlets like newsweek et al just having a hayday with stuff like this.
They are "enabling" this crap by doing that.

I'm thinking ahead to the probable civil suit she will be filing (ala Kobe B), meaning he will have to either "fold" like Kobe, or fight like Roethlisberger. A counter-suit for damages and legal fees would be useful should she ever hope to profit by selling her story.
A number of people have already filed suit against Casey Anthony. She hadn't worked for some time before she killed her daughter, so unless she tries to profit from her story, they won't collect anything either. But, they are planning for the probable eventuality of her making money by selling her story.
DSK doesn't need the money even if he could collect. The point is to not let her profit - especially since that would only encourage others.
Well the good news is that she changes her story more frequently than her underwear and it's all on display for the whole world to see. Another nail in the coffin of the "no woman would ever lie" lie.

Karma is also a nice lady. She is the sister of justice (true justice). Karma has lots of children.
This just in: an actual copy of the Diallo multiple choice false rape accusation!
Except I read it a little differently than she intended:
***
My Lies Against DSK, by Nifassatou Diallo (you may believe whichever of the following is most convenient!):
A- I am a lying whore who belongs in prison
B- I am a lying whore who belongs in prison
C- I am a lying whore who belongs in prison
D- I am a lying whore who belongs in prison
(Please select whichever of the above false rape stories will result in me, N. Diallo, being given the maximum amount of attention and/or money!)
