Another false accusation, to keep from getting in trouble with the family.
Bangu Balayi admitted to lying about being raped. Why did she lie? Because she was afraid that her mother would be angry that she spent the night with him and overslept.
This is the same man that is the father to her baby, and that she has had a relationship with for close to two years.
He was, of course, suspended from his job. One also wonders what type of suspicion and hostility was directed at him from the community?

The issue of Statutory Rape being fundamentally anti-male and age of consent as misandry will not go away. we need to address this and soon.
This took place in Botswana so it's not just America that is experiencing an epidemic of false rape claims. Increasingly, I really like the Sharia Law teaching about requiring four males of good character as witnesses to verify a rape allegation. OK, maybe not four males as witnesses as that is going too far. Three males of good character is a good number.
