Derby woman accused of making false rape claim

A woman is arrested after filing a report that someone exposed themselves to her back in October of last year.

Then, in January of this year, she added to it, and said that she had been raped. After investigating the claims, they were found to be false, and she has been arrested.

Now, I do have a couple of questions on this: did it really take 8 months to investigate, or did she keep adding details, and then the rape story, and that is what dragged this out so long?

Was anyone specifically named in her report, or was it some vague description of a hapless male? There really is no way to know. Hopefully, after the appearance, we will learn more details.

You will have to take this comment as hearsay, not gospel.... however, you all know me as the victim of an FRA in the UK.

In informal dialogue with certain people working within the UK police force, which as we all know in these economic times is under budget cuts...

apparently "word" has come down, informally, undocumented, not in writing, but "if you know what is good for you and your career" which in any other sense is "don't make waves" and "don't bite the hand that feeds you" to the officers on the ground.

that word is that budgets for sexual assault and rape cases are "safe money" and immune to cutbacks, for the present.

in order to preserve this status quo officers are being "told" to push for sexual assault and rape cases, and avoid anything that may raise public concern and jeopardise the budget, such as chasing False Rape Accusers and indeed false domestic violence and everything else accusers, for crimes such as wasting police time and perverting the course of justice.

It is surely no coincidence, my uniformed contact tells me, that within a couple of weeks of this word coming down from on high, the local force has embarked on a MASSIVELY complex and therefore expensive case of alleged rape, but this is alleged historical rape, against a woman who was been a corpse in a cemetery for three decades now........

so they have dug up this corpse, and remember yanks, here in the uk burials are in plain wooden coffins that rot and collapse at around the 4 month mark so the corpse is literally worm food, which has been in the ground 30 odd years, to extract DNA, which is hugely expensive, to attempt to prosecute people (men have actually been arrested and charged as we speak) for allegedly raping her back when she was alive 30+ years ago....

Now it appears that we not only have to fear rape allegations from women, historical rape allegations from women, but now historical rape allegations from the decomposed corpses of women.

AFOR, based on what evidence do they have that she was raped? She has been dead since 1989.

Beats me.... just wondering if they are going to put a ouija board in the dock so she can testify from the grave...
