A 19-year-old woman has admitted falsely reporting to Nottinghamshire Police that she had been raped.
Aisha Mather, of Hertford Road, Stevenage, claimed she had been raped by a stranger at a house in North Sherwood Street, Nottingham, on January 6 this year.
Mather appeared at Nottingham Crown Court on Tuesday 10 May and pleaded guilty to the charge of perverting the course of justice between January 6 and 14.
She will be sentenced on June 21.

Falsely claimed she was raped? more like you slandered your accuser, what had if you succeed in your lie you will put the accused in 20 years or so in prison? that's a grave offense
