Below is the first show, which premiered this last Tuesday, March 1st. I hope you will take the time to listen to the show on the 15th, as well as all of the other shows, which are broadcast each Tuesday at 8 p.m. Central Time. A permanent link will be under the links section, on the sideboard.

Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
I truly feel we are on a mission here, to liberate innocent people from a sort of institutionalized bondage that doesn't care about them.
I look forward to your time on BTR and definitely am looking forward to the false rape episode.
Sweet.
Although I appreciate the good intentions of the show, fifteen minutes in and I am not all that impressed. I prefer the manner of discourse provided on this website. The introduction repeats things that just about any man listening to it already knows. To be fair, it looks like future episodes will be focused discussions on various issues. I just hope that it doesn't turn into unproductive back-patting sessions. I want these shows to be thought-provoking. Part of my negative reaction also stems from the use of vulgarity. While there is nothing inherently wrong with vulgarity, it plays into certain negative stereotypes about men and may reinforce prejudices of a non-MRA tuning in. Furthermore, the dating advertisement will probably isolate MRAs in the roissy-sphere who share many MRA positions on the basis of staunch libertarianism.
I really appreciate that this is a first step in expansion of the movement. I hope the show is successful.
@ Freedom.
I appreciate your concerns about the show. Please allow me to offer an alternative point of view. One, after one episode which was explicitly billed as an MRA only "meet and greet," it seems very premature to have concerns about the show devolving into "back patting" sessions.
Not that even some of that is a bad thing.
Please keep in mind that even on our own humble scale AVfM radio represented the first opportunity for men in the MRM to speak live in broadcast that was actually friendly and supportive regarding their point of view and the concerns in their lives.
There will be a lot more of that in the future on the show and I am quite proud of that fact.
Regarding the "vulgarity" and your concerns about it playing in to negative stereotypes about men I have another obviously different point of view.
I won't walk on eggshells, resorting to extremes like avoiding language you can find on any cable TV program at will. The fact is that plenty of people use colorful language. I understand it is offensive to a minority of people, but it is in the common lexicon.
Now, I would agree that if JUST depended on the shock value of language rather than have substance to the information then I would be doing a disservice. But I think I can say without bragging that nothing could be further from the case at AVfM Radio.
I can't please everyone and won't try, but I did want you to know I noted and considered your concerns.
Besides... the show is supposed to be entertaining, also. Compare the "shock value" to other radio programs.
So how long will it be until this is on Sirius?
"I won't walk on eggshells" -- I totally understand this sentiment. And you definitely provided a clear disclaimer that the first episode was for MRAs. I am really excited about the show, and I thank you for considering my concerns.
Is it going to be just you, ESB or Archivist also?
I thought the show was great. And I am honored that FRS was mentioned.
I will definitely be tuning in on the 15th.
It will be just me. Pierce/Archivist was busy, so I'll be on.
