Albany Police Department charges woman for false report of rape

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany woman is on her way to jail right now charged with falsely reporting she was raped.
A manhunt was launched after Jaques Williams reported she was raped at the Superior Creek Lodge Motel on North Slappey.

But now police have charged her with making false statements and false report of a crime.

Investigators believe the suspect's name is Darius.

Just after noon the 20-year old woman at Superior Creek Lodge on North Slappey reported that a man raped her in her room.

While paramedics treated the woman, Albany Police and Gang Unit officers searched the area they believed the suspected rapist was headed.

The field behind businesses in the 18-hundred block of Slappey was one area they focused on.

There needs to be a law specifically for falsifying a rape.

From the “News” account - ”Investigators believe the suspect's name is Darius.”

No, Jim Wallace, her name is Jaques Williams.

Darius was just a name she gave to police in her bid to get then to believe she was raped. But, since there was no crime other than her false report, she is the ONLY suspect.

Look at the racial douchebaggery in the comments section! It's sad that some people are determined to view this as a race issue, and not a simple matter of justice.

"Investigators believe the suspect's name is Darius."

Why would they even write that?

There is a law against falsifying Rape; but perversion has rooted itself in Many American law enforcement jurisdictions, some more than others. The stronghold of Gender-Raunch perversion of our justice system is definitely rooted in the north-eastern states.
