What causes some men to commit rape is just lack of respect for the law: the vast majority are also involved in other criminal activities.
Similarly, false rape accusers often have a vast history of lying about all sorts of things. Scum is scum.

I wouldn't ask either of those people anything.
The author's claim, "in a buyer’s market there’s little incentive to steal" still buys into feminist ideology. The reason most men don't rape is that most men are not pathologically violent predators. This goes way beyond a "lack of respect for the law" or social norms, as rapists are a tiny minority even among criminals, who unlike rapists are most commonly motivated by material gain.
