Police arrested a 16-year-old female from Yorktown for making a false statement.
On Nov. 12 at 12:30 a.m. the teen reported to police she had been sexually groped by a taxi driver while she took a local cab home from a friend's house. The incident, she alleged, had occurred the previous day at 7 p.m.
Detective Timothy Tausz was assigned to investigate and found the facts surrounding the incident were not true, police said.
On Dec. 29, the girl, whose name police did not release, surrendered herself to police. She was charged with third-degree falsely reporting an incident, a misdemeanor.
She was released to her grandmother and is due in court on Jan. 27.

I think any woman found to be falsely accusing someone of rape should have a more serious charge than "Filing a false police report". If they didn't figure out she was lying, the guy is going to be branded a sex offender for life, essentially ruining any chance of a job after he gets out of prison. The woman, if caught, pays a small fine.
It's time to start being fearful of women. Not physically afraid, or intellectually afraid, but sexually afraid. Say or do the wrong thing, and they'll accuse you of rape.

I could not agree with you more. When are the powers to be going to realize that females lie whether for attention or to get someone in trouble. They want sex sometimes worse than men. I am tired of seeing female getting away with making lives of men miserable. This does need to change. They should be charged, put in prison for a while since, like you said, if they really believed her this guy would have been a sex offender. I just wish people would realize females are NOT as innocent as they pretend to be.
Agreed on that any woman or girl who lies about being sexually assaulted should face charges. We need to stop treating these women with kid gloves, they are the worst kind of people and need a wakeup call of the worst sort.
Personally, this all comes back to society needing a 'boogie man' on a regular basis to harass. Without one, some people get too 'uppity' for the comfort of various groups of people.
