By the way, the kid pictured came off very well in the "List." While the "List" is crassly objectifying in a way feminists would scream about if the roles were reversed, it's clear that Ms. Owen very much likes men, and despite her stupid PowerPoint, doesn't treat them as "louts" or as pieces of meat to be mocked, the way feminist Flanagan does.
I stopped reading things the Atlantic a long time ago. It is out of touch with how people really think.

I heard it on the radio a few days back, but can't find an article on it, but thre is now some dust up about a guy at a college that had the same thing, and shared it with his friends, and he is now being excoriated over it, by the fems. I'll try to find a link to it, and post that link, both here an over at the spearhead, but the double standard is astounding.
Steve and I are in agreement -- the first problem with the Fuck List is the double standard in terms of the reaction. Perfectly OK to treat men as pieces of meat but not women.
But then when feminists actually looked at what Karen Owen wrote, they were aghast. She actually likes -- no, she LOVES -- men. They couldn't wrap their minds around that astounding fact. So then they started this inanity, which, of course, gave them another excuse to slam white heterosexual young jocks, their favorite pinatas.
Gender-raunch don't like heterosexuality, and will attack it any chance they get.

It was Heather McDonald who essentially stated one of the truest facts:

Even if a few college age girls are the most ardent and fervent feminists, most college age girls are in the above list.
They insist on treating women like adult individuals. *GASP* Women that actually make decisions about their life are feminism's greatest enemy.
I am actually serious. They hate men, but they hate non-feminist women so much more.
During the Duke lacrosse false rape and media lynching of innocent boys; sure the GLBT, gender-raunch community were in "full klan mode", the Deviant duke 88 were in "full klan mode", but the girls duke lacrosse team stood by their innocent peers, and called the lying crack whore who falsely accused the innocent boys..."a lying dirty crack whore".
So there are girls who will stand against a gender-raunch, "full klan march", we just gotta reach out to em.
And I notice that Bill has posted a new story over at the Spearhead, about the story I refernced, about the young man who did the same thing, and is getting raked over the coals for it.

Sad that one boy somewhere in America is currently being EXPELLED(not suspended) for posting a Facebook list of his girl classmates based on attractiveness and promiscuity. Of course all the feminazis in the school immediately organized and will continue to "meet to ensure no one else is allowed to spread such misogyny".

Pierce, great piece. What the likes of Flanagan really dislike most is that women such as Owen undermine the sexual bargaining power of women, by advertising the fact that women really need sex as well. They are undermining the female cartel, and have to be pulled back into line.

Zarko, what you say is no doubt true of feminists. But it is of little relevance here. Flanagan, as far as I am aware, is not a feminist. She is a self-styled, traditionalist and upper-middle class housewife.
Yet more evidence, if it was needed, that conservatives don't care squat about men's rights and those who seem to think so are deluding themselves.
