A Follow up to our story HERE. Note that her embezzling $2K-$13K appears to be more important in this report than the fact that she inflated the reports of rape/sexual assault for 3 years.
The former director of the Campus Violence Prevention Program at the University of California Davis was arrested Thursday on a charge of embezzlement of public funds.
Jennifer Beeman was also charged with eight other felonies, all alleging misuse of funds and false accounting. She surrendered to authorities in Woodland.
According to the Yolo County District Attorney, Beeman embezzled between $2,000 and $13,000.
Beeman worked as director of the Campus Violence Prevention Program for 16 years.
In December 2008 she was placed on administrative leave. She stopped working for the university six months later.
An investigation at the university found Beeman inflated the numbers of forcible sex offenses on campus over the course of three years.
The charges against her stem from her alleged personal use of funds intended for prevention programs.
The program is intended to help victims of sexual assault, stalking and domestic violence.

Why am I not surprised?
I believe all of these types of organizations should be audited. The more they discriminate with their "manufactured statistics", the more the feds feed them pork dollars.
not the least surprised, someone who is devious and fraudulent in one area of life being the same in another area of life.
Now we need the, what to do if you are falsely accused list.
Pierce did I once read that you are working on a book about FRA, when will you be done?
This reminds me of all the science departments that make shitty studies just to make sure they can justify their funds and keep themselves open. They do need to create mass histeria to keep getting money. Is so obvious.
Sounds like someone needs to conduct an "ACORN" style sting in some of these "instututions".
