Lambs To The Slaughter: The Hofstra False Rape Case

This is the most important post we've ever run on this site, not to mention the lengthiest.  Monday September 13 marks the first anniversary of the Hofstra false rape claim, the most widely publicized false rape claim since Duke Lacrosse. No less an authority than Prof. KC Johnson, guru of the Duke Lacrosse case, said that the claim at Hofstra was "equally spectacular" to the claim at Duke. Yet, while entire books have been written about Duke, after Hofstra was no longer "news," that "equally spectacular" case has been largely ignored except by feminist writers. This piece is intended to fill that gap.

The Hofstra story encapsulates virtually every pathology that defines the way modern society sacrifices innocent victims of false rape claims as collateral damage in the "more important" war on rape.

We are posting this entry as a permanent link on the right side of our page -- you can read it here: http://falserapesociety.blogspot.com/p/lamb-to-slaughter-hofstra-false-rape.html

How long have we been saying that we need real sentences to deter false accusers?

Then the British legal system does this - we can't get anonymity for men falsely accused, but we can get this:

Judges ordered to show more mercy on women criminals when deciding sentences

Jim Crow dances once more.

We're getting there Snark, things ain't right, but we are winning slowly.

Only a few years ago the likes of Myra Hindley were exceptions that proved the rule the women were sugar and spice and all things nice.

The UK female prison population has more than doubled since 1993.

Read the entire thing. It should be required reading. I salute you gentlemen for this analysis.

Excellent article.

Re the article itself.

(delay because I read it, slept on it, read it again)

Top marks, I suggest that in addition to linking to it, it is made available as a downloadable pdf file, and distributed as widely as possible.

This case was the turning point in Americas history in the last scourge of "Rape hysteria". Prior to the case of the "scottsborro boys" most Americans could not fathom that women and girls would ever, ever, ever, ever, lie about rape.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottsboro_Boys
What will be Americas turning point in this latest scourge of "false Rape culture"?? With Gender feminists keeping a tight grip on any incoming and outgoing information to the public concerning false rape accusations.
The dominant theory that inspired the American law enforcement protocol of "No charges for false rape accusers", is the questioneable theory that "charging false rape accusers deters real rape victims from coming forward". I would like to see the studies that prove this theory, because one very real consequence that can be measured by "Not charging false rape accusers" is the now "false rape culture".
9 out 9 of the last big ???Rape cases?? from Duke to Hofstra to hit the American media were all false accusations, and because of the media peversion spin, The average American still believes women and girls Never, Ever, Ever, Ever, lie about rape, when they are now doing it all the time for as trivial of reasons as they were late for work.

Gender feminists get immediatte and unquestioneable "Empowerment" from "rape hysteria".
But i will use the analogy that eating alot of candy will get you a little high, but over time it will rot yer teath.

Excellent article. I quoted you and did some further
analysis of false rape accusation witch hunts

But actually, not much can be added to this. I wish you good luck trying to get this case, its analysis and consequences widely known.

Keep up the good work

Kudos on a most excellent article.

Although I have one teensy correction. "Only a relatively small percentage of rape claims can be definitively called "rape."... Roughly fifteen percent end in conviction in the U.S." Off the top of my head, roughly fifteen percent of arrests end in conviction, but the percentage of non-unfounded reports, the counted number of claims, is closer to three percent.

Men - Societies Tampons;

Having worked countless factory jobs I have experienced first hand the horror of what really is the most monstrous human rights atrocity I have ever known.

Men are clearly considered at best a tool, subhuman and readily disposed.

Men typically experience hardship from all angles of society, well supported by constant vomiting of hate crime that is disseminated via media, notably British influenced and funded by elitists to gain power via destroyed families.

Bravo. A tour de force.

It is faulty and inflamatory missinformation that prejudices against the innocent..when state and federal organisations tell the public that only 2% of rape accusations are false, when in reality the percentages of false rape accusations is around 60% or higher.

I probably should have waited to read this until after court on Monday. I am shaking.

Ruby Bates toured for a short while as an ILD speaker.

She said "she was sorry for all the trouble that I caused them", and claimed she did it because she was "frightened by the ruling class of Scottsboro".

She went to Washington where she met with the Speaker of the House and Vice President John Garner. Later, she worked in a New York state spinning factory until 1938, then returned to Huntsville. Victoria Price worked in a Huntsville cotton mill until it closed in 1938, then moved to Flintville, Tennessee. The women emerged from obscurity almost 40 years later to sue over their portrayals in a 1975 National Broadcasting Company documentary on the Scottsboro case entitled "Judge Horton and the Scottsboro Boys". Shortly thereafter, both Bates and Price, who had both assumed different names, filed lawsuits against NBC for libel, slander, and invasion of privacy. Price's case was tried in 1977, but Ruby Bates died October 27, 1976 at age sixty-three. The trial relitigated many of the issues of the original case, focusing on Price's reliability and the physician's examination of her. NBC's lawyer read Judge Horton's 1933 decision granting a new trial during his summation to the jury. Judge Charles G. Neese dismissed the case before the jury began considering it, ruling that there were insufficient grounds to continue. Victoria Price died in 1982.

Most current residents of Scottsboro acknowledge the injustice that started in their community.[170] In January 2004, the town dedicated a historical marker in commemoration of the case at the Jackson County Court House.[171] "An 87-year-old black man who attended the ceremony recalled that the mob scene following the Boys' arrest was frightening and that death threats were leveled against the jailed suspects. Speaking of the decision to install the marker, he said, "I think it will bring the races closer together, to understand each other better

Well written article. I have passed it on to others to read. I too believe that it should be required reading. Thank you for the work you did in writing this article.

This ought to be a multi-part series in a major newspaper.

No one in America challenged the last round of Rape hysteria, when the Klan was lynching black males around the clock over false rape claims. In fact history books state it was the communist party from Russia that retained a lawyer to represent the scottsborro boys in the infamous "scottsborro boys" case.
You see folks, "Gender / Raunch" feminists tell the public they are the "benevolent saviors, and equalists in America", when in reality they may just be the mouthpieces of the "modern Klan." That was not said in jest.

Curious, has the video ever been posted on the internet? While I don't think it has, ever a censored version might help convince those who still insist the accused must be guilty.

Anon at 9:52: Not that I'm aware of. The counsel for one of the young men said it looks like a porn film. My guess is that no amount of evidence would ever convince people inclined to find rape that no rape occurred.

Has anyone from FRS tried to contact any of the four accused men to see if would care to comment on the article? It would be interesting to know their perspective on it.

Archivist said...

My guess is that at least some of the Hofstra guys have seen or will see this piece and, if they are so inclined, will comment. For most guys, the pain is too severe and they just want to get on with their lives.

Do you remember comments made by one of the guys/his counsel about future employers Googling his name? I beleive that idea came directly from us. On this particular issue, this blog is prominent. (Type in false rape on Google and see what you get.)

@ AFOR

If you read the report you linked to closely...

"He told her they were not going to have sex that night as it was their first date and he did not know her well enough.

But Mrs Brereton said Wilkinson became moody, wanted to stay and said she was going to sleep with Mr Lord and that was all and he agreed."

Not only did Wilkinson falsely accuse the man, she _also_, according to the Feminist definition, raped him!

What do you want to bet a couple threats were dropped by Wilkinson prior to his 'consent.'

Another one - interestingly, the VICTIM (e.g. the MAN) is referred to as the victim in this piece. I had to do a double take. Crazy, huh?

"My guess is that no amount of evidence would ever convince people inclined to find rape that no rape occurred."

You are probably right...

"We don't yet know the contents of the 5 minutes and 38 seconds of cell phone video that reportedly show "consensual" sex, but somehow I doubt it shows the vital components of the story – the part where she said "No!, "Stop it!," "I want to leave!" "Get off me!" and "Help!""

Looks like this got deleted for having a link.

"My guess is that no amount of evidence would ever convince people inclined to find rape that no rape occurred."

It seems like you are right, based on this work of fiction:

""We don't yet know the contents of the 5 minutes and 38 seconds of cell phone video that reportedly show "consensual" sex, but somehow I doubt it shows the vital components of the story – the part where she said "No!, "Stop it!," "I want to leave!" "Get off me!" and "Help!""

The same article also cites federal justice statistics that I don't think exist.

Yeah, the Cooper piece is just sick, no other way to put it. Hateful, sick stuff.

Canoe Convoy said...

The punishments for false accusations ought to be identical in duration, degree, and intensity, to what the accused would have suffered had the crime been true.

Obviously, a tremendous effort was poured into this piece and it shows. Remarkable work, especially the Lessons section at the close.

I don't know who Michael Daly is, but he should be smacked in the nuts with heavy mining equipment.

He got pretty eviscerated in the comments though. Pretty much everyone showed that he's a pathetic tool of Andrea Dworkin.

Nice.

Sorry for the double post.

The Deborah Cooper piece is HILARIOUS. I don't remember the last time I laughed that hard. The misogyny is borderline hate speech.
