A woman who had been accused of falsely reporting a rape to cover her alleged sexual activity with a 15-year-old boy entered an Alford guilty plea to the charges during last week's criminal jury trials in Superior Court.
With an Alford plea, Jessica Renea Cline, 25, of Acworth asserted her innocence but admitted she could be found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt by a judge or jury.
Bartow County Sheriff's Office investigators lodged charges against Cline in connection with the July 2008 incident in which she allegedly had sex with the boy, then told officials during their probe of the child molestation allegations that she was raped by the boy.
In a negotiated agreement with prosecuting attorneys, Cline entered a plea on three counts -- child molestation, statutory rape and false statements. The assistant district attorney agreed not to prosecute her on one count of aggravated child molestation.
Superior Court Judge Scott Smith sentenced Cline to 20 years, five of which she was ordered to serve in prison. The balance she will serve on probation. Cline will be required to register as a sex offender.

I do not know what is more astounding: the woman trying that defense or that it almost worked. She got a fairly nice deal considering the charges against her.
This happens more often than you might think.
I don't know why she was offered an Alford plea unless they actually had no evidence.
After all, that's what an Alford plea is for.
the absurdity of the laws.
One wrong law: getting the woman into trouble for having consensual sex with a minor guy who most likely enjoyed being "raped" by the woman.
In a perfect world, they would leave the couple alone. Or give her a slap on the wrist. I always say that the law 30-150 years ago was sensible and good. Nothing would have happened for consensual sex with anyone above the age of consent at that time (probably 12)
Now because of that stupid underage "protection" law, the woman tried to escape, abusing other stupid laws, about rape accusations that are taken at face value without further proof.
One wrong intended to fix another wrong.
Just pure insanity.
I am not defending her false accusations. She was very wrong.
I just say she never would have gotten to that point of despair that caused the false rape accusation, were it not for the statutary rape laws. Basically, the law (that I consider very wrong) made her a rapist, and she "counter-sued" claiming rape.

And there you have it folks. I believe in femispeak, this is called blaming the victim but alas... the victim is male so... no worries....
I wonder if this person would feel the same if a 25 year old man had taken his 15 year old daughter for a spin on the wild side...
Something tells me no.
Human Stupidity indeed!
TMOTS
TMOTS, there are many stupid laws. Unconstituitional/Feminist/mangina laws are amongst them.
How many males consented to the authorization of VAWA?

Not me.
And the pussy pass strikes again
I met her in prison she is the sweetest most caring person and if any of you knew her you would know she is innocent. The boys father put him up to the whole thing because he and her were having issues. He is a piece of shit and will burn in hell. The boy never even testified and out of the court room he admitted she never touched him. People like that do not deserve to live.
