Police now say a woman's complaint about a sexual assault by a stranger was false.
Shortly after 1 a.m., Thursday police said the woman said she was walking on Egerton St. near Cameron St. when she was assaulted by a man and dragged into a laneway on Cameron St. just south of Hamilton Rd. and sexually assaulted.
The suspect was last seen running west on Cameron St.
The victim managed to flag down a passing police cruiser to get help.
But police said further investigation revealed "the report was determined to be unfounded and there will be no further police investigation."

Non sequitur.
How can there be a "suspect" when no crime occurred? Who reported the "suspect" to be "running west" and how could they identify anybody as a "suspect" when no crime occurred?
gwallan: Likewise how can there be a "victim" when no crime occurred?
Is it constitutional for modern western law enforcement, by strategically using semantics games of what the meaning of is, is, and calling "false" rape accusations "unfounded" when the goal is to (In effect) hide the false rape explosion from the public, is ??semantics?? now a law enforceement practice??
Is this semantics game that manufactures "faulty and inflamatory" missinformation an activity that law enforcement are qualified to practice??
Beacuse the current approach of not charging, and mixed with the "law enforcement semantics game", it has created the pefect perversion that discriminates against innocent (mostly young men) in false rape accusations around the country.
I think one must fallow the "Empowerment" trail, when discussing how western law enforcement communities have been perverted to in effect "manufacture faulty and inflamatory missinformation" that prejudices against the innocent. I believe the greatest beneficiary to the law enforcement / Gender feminist missinformation Alliance, is the Gender feminist communities that brewed this ALLIANCE.
I guess the real question is how "Empowered" is America gonna let the Gender feminists get on the backs of innocent hetero-sexual males, or do we conclude as the gender feminists have that there are no ??innocent??? heterosexual males.

This nonsense needs to stop.

At some point, I hope you begin to understand that your NOT enlightening people (has anyone ever replied in agreement with your supposition that the police are involved in FRA support and manufacturing conspiracies?).
You are starting to harm the credibility of this entire site by posting such obviously nonsensical tripe. I's becoming an embarrassment for many of the rest of us.
What are posted here are serious stories about a serious, but oft over-looked crime, that deserve serious discussion.
Look at the story herein. It's rather short, so there is no excuse for NOT reading it, BTW.
The police took a womans report, as their jobs require them to do. They investigated her claims, as their jobs also require that they do. And, they determined that the alleged attack had not occurred.
This is EXACTLY what should happen. No innocent man was targeted for arrest in any zeal to convict some man, any man. No effort was made to hide the fact that an FRA had been made from the public. No semantical games were employed in any way, shape, or form. And, as it was in the UK, we can rest assured that no VAWA money was slipped to police under the table as a reward for encouraging the FRA to have been made.
Now, please demonstrate how your boiler-plate rant has any relationship what-so-ever to this story?

Here we go again.
"unfounded"
No. "False" is the correct adjective. It states the truth. "unfounded" is polite chivalry. As long as this term is used, feminists will be able to continue their assertion that ALL rapes happen and the term "unfounded" just means the police bungled the case.
The term "unfounded" comes from fear of the media and feminist groups. Police live inside of political correctness too.
