JENNINGS, La. (AP) - A former Lake Arthur woman has been sentenced for filing a false police report after she admitted to making up separate rape and armed-robbery claims in Jefferson Davis Parish.
The American Press reports 43-year-old Jenny Thibodeaux of Pierre Part was placed on two years of supervised probation.
Conditions of the probation include serving one year in the parish jail with credit for time served in an inpatient and outpatient treatment facility for gambling and self-esteem.
The charges resulted from her alleged false complaint of a rape in Jennings in November 2008 and an alleged false complaint of armed robbery, which she said occurred 10 months earlier.
Thibodeaux claimed she was the victim of both crimes, which officers spent months investigating.

Contact your local politicians and tell them we need specific laws for false rape. Tell them that false rape should be a felony. Do research, use local examples in your area and use examples here from this website. But get involved. If you don't and you just sit there and post little responses on blogs then nothing is ever going to change. Take action now.

Law enforement changed their protocol when dealing with Rape (they no longer charge false rape accusers)..because the Gender feminist perverts told them "Charging false rape accusers somehow deters real victims from coming forward".
I say where are the studies to prove this "fishy theory"??? One real consequence of no longer cahrging false rape accusers, is the now explosion of false rape accusations (that mostly come from the girls Raised in the "Gender / Raunch era."

Um??? What make you think that false rape accusers had ever been charged, let alone punished, for their lies - at any time in history?
That (some) women are now being charged - even if only misdemeanors - is something quite new, indeed.
While, as I've recently mentioned, I do understand WHY you go off on these anti-LE rants, I believe it would behoove you to do a little bit of research on matters such as this idea that LE stopped charging false accusers at some point in time (so as to not repeat that error).
You've correctly noted that black men were often lynched based on nothing more than the lie of a (white) woman. So, I'd have thought that you'd have grasp the obvious - those women were never charged with having done anything wrong. In the event that it became apparent that they had lie, the matter would likely have been swept under the proverbial rug rather than seeking to make her pay for what she'd done.
Perhaps, assuming you have 1000's of hours to waste, you might search through any and all available archives to see if you can find any cases in which women were charged with filing false rape allegations prior to, say, 1960.

Qusetion, if false rape accusers were NEVER, EVER, charged, then why the police protocol changes that were enacted around 15-20 years ago.
Rape hysteria in America seems to be cyclical, and the last round of Rape hysteria, the targets were mostly all black males who could not stick up for themselves.
This round of Rape hysteria attacks mostly boys, and working class males, who cannot afford an atorney to stick up for themselves.
