Oregon police determine that sexual assault at OSU 'did not occur'

Investigators with the Oregon State Police announced today that they have not found any evidence of a sexual assault in a case that was reported at Oregon State University early last month.

OSP said that a student reported the assault on May 4, saying an unknown man had entered her residence hall room and assaulted her.

But after extensive investigation, state police "determined that the reported sexual assault did not occur as reported" and that there is no specific threat to the community in connection with the alleged assault.

OSP added, however, that it encourages "all survivors of sexual assault to report those assaults to the appropriate law enforcement agency for investigation."

There is still a threat to the community as the thught of making the same, or similar, claim can be made by other women/girls.

The article is pretty vague on the evidence. Did the police merely fail to find corroborating evidence or is there positive proof that she made it up? I wish the article was more specific.

Naturally, they don't name her.

Just once, I'd like to not see an article end with an officer acknowledging that the accusation was false/malicious, but encouraging women to come forward nonetheless.

I'd prefer to see an article end with an officer stating, "look, women, just stop fucking lying about rape, all right?"

It is a social and societal perversion, that has now consumed our law enforcement community, that has fostered and enabled the current rash of false rape accusations, and the ensuing "False Rape culture" we are now experienceing.
We here who participate in "The False Rape society" are but the bold, "Avante guard" of a discussion that needs to take place nationally.

I believe the perversion of the law enforcement community over the last 20 years has fomented this "False Rape Culture". The bloated budgets of law enforceement to "protect women" (VAWA), is blood money to pervert our justice system. You will see the more conservative states "fight back first" against this "Bloating" of law enforcement VAWA dollars, to feed this perversion of our legal system.

Another day, another lie on campus.

When I was in college, the general student body were told by the Rape Awareness Center that a woman would never, ever, ever lie about rape. This is a lie.

That organization was a front for misinformation and a re-engineering of society.

Keep up the fight. These feminist liars have got to be stopped.

Does anyone know what happened to the attempted murder and arson charges, against Crystal Magnum?

The scumbag is finally free on bail and the charges are still pending. Chances are she will not just walk away this time.

Who posted her bail?

As I recall, the bail bondsman posted it for free, thinking somehow that he was gaining admission to The Round Table of Chivalrous Douche Bags by doing so.
