I don't think anything I type could properly express precisely how disgusted this makes me.
She bowed her head as Judge Madge told her: "Twenty years ago you fabricated an allegation of indecent assault against Ian Henderson. You gave false evidence at his trial. There can be no doubt that what you did had a devastating effect upon his life.
Too bad judge, that it wasn't bad enough for you to consider an actual punishment, instead of 16 months suspended sentence. The devastating effect on his life wasn't THAT important after all, was it?
A WOMAN yesterday admitted destroying an innocent man's life by falsely accusing him of indecent assault.
Guilt-ridden Carrie Crownshaw, 34, went to police earlier this year to admit
MAKING UP the allegation against her mother's then-boyfriend Ian Henderson when she was 14.
He was convicted and sentenced to three years' jail in 1990 - and yesterday Judge Nic Madge told Crownshaw: "It would not be an understatement to say that you wrecked his life."
His sentence at Acton Crown Court, West London, was reduced on appeal, but Crownshaw's trial heard he had still spent a nightmare 15 months in a sex offenders' wing, later lost his job - and even felt guilty changing his childrens' nappies.
Prosecutor Adrian Slasher said: "Mr Henderson had to serve in a separate unit. Food often had to be sent back because it was believed to be contaminated with urine and other things.
"He felt uneasy changing the nappies of his own children in case anyone misconstrued what he was doing.
"He didn't want to go out. He was always concerned who he would meet.
"He said he didn't trust people - even people he knew. He was worried he might say something wrong."
The lawyer told how Mr Henderson's bond with his parents had been hit because he always wondered whether they believed in his innocence.
And he once began a relationship only for the woman to end it when she found out about his conviction.
He had also lost his job as a coach driver because of his criminal record.
Crownshaw, married with four children in Luton, Beds, pleaded guilty to perverting justice at Harrow Crown Court in North West London.
She bowed her head as Judge Madge told her: "Twenty years ago you fabricated an allegation of indecent assault against Ian Henderson. You gave false evidence at his trial. There can be no doubt that what you did had a devastating effect upon his life.
"False allegations increase the plight of women and girls who have actually suffered sexual abuse."
But he spared her jail - sentencing her to 16 months in jail, suspended for two years.
The judge took into account her "traumatic upbringing" and a psychiatric report which described her depression personality disorders.
She has attempted suicide several times, most recently in April, and her children suffer a range of illnesses.
Hannah Fish, defending, said: "She stated that an injustice had happened. She wanted to rectify the situation."

The sentence is the sentence and what's done is done.
What we have to ask ourselves now is how in the hell an innocent man could have been convicted if he truly was entitled to a presumption of innocence. This should have been impossible.
"His sentence at Acton Crown Court, West London, was reduced on appeal"
Why would his sentence only be reduced if the conviction was secured with false evidence? Surely it should be quashed?
*Speechless*
"She has attempted suicide several times"
Let's hope she succeeds next time.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1292055/Student-jailed-rape-claim-invented-extension-course-work.html
A student has been jailed for 18 months for falsely claiming a cleaner had raped her - so she could get an extension on her university course work.
Temitope Adenugba, 24, was struggling to meet a deadline whilst studying at Oxford Brookes University last year.
She phoned police to tell them she had been abused as a child, before complaining she had also been subjected to a serious sexual assault as she slept in her university digs.
etc etc etc
Anon 3:35, His sentence was reduced many years ago. They've only established it was based on false evidence now.
And this was 20 years ago folks..This was when the False Rape culture was just taking off.
We now have legions of falselly accused men and boys who are suicidally deppressed because of
what the legal system has allowed and enbabled women and girls to do to them with impunity.
Hey, wait a minute...I hear all the time that women and girls would NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, lie about rape. When missinformation that girls never ever, ever, lie about rape (when in fact they do lie about it around 50% of the time)...Doesn't this state and federally manufactured missinformation create a legal pre-judice against innocent men and boys??
Has he been exonerated? Have his rights as a citizen been restored? Has he been compensated, though there is no amount of money that can change what happened? Has he been removed from the sex offender list and his name cleared before the public? Did anyone notice the obscene gesture this woman displayed?
"Did anyone notice the obscene gesture this woman displayed?"
Yes, she certainly doesn't seem sorry.
Slightly OT, but wanted to share with you guys:
I know three folks here in the US that investigate EEOC claims, many of which regard sexual harassment, two of whom are women. They were telling me recently that nearly all sexual harassment claims turn out to be unfounded upon even the faintest of investigation. To my surprise, they are allowed to ask the complainant about their attire, personal lives, etc.
What is most shocking is that so many of the complaints are from the same people. Some women have attempted upwards of 100 claims! They become masters at using key phrases in the interviews such as "hostile work environment" and similar. Each claim costs the US $5000 and the vast majority are false.
I've personally litigated sex discrimination claims (on behalf of employers) and have a perfect record. That is my experience, too. In the last one I did, I had to ask the woman exactly how a certain statement allegedly made by a rep of the employer was offensive to her. Neither I nor the judge could even understand what it meant, much less that it was offensive to her.
The liar with the upraised finger should have her wages garnished for the rest of her life, with half of the money going straight to the victim's wallet.
Really, can you imagine if a rapist had walked out of that court room after being given a slap on the wrist, and then went out of his way to show his contempt for the court and for the victim by extending his middle finger? There would be an uproar.
But because *all* she did was falsely imprison him for fifteen months -- in which he was served urine-soaked food -- and in effect hijacked his identity by branding him as a rapist for life: it's okay; she gets yet another Get Out of Jail Free card and another fix for her addiction to attention.
Folks the "women as victim" movement has very little to do these days with "Empowering women", and has everything to do with the "Empowerment" of the new "Gender / Raunch" community.

It also exploits women but in the manner that benefits feminism. This is why nobody hears feminists, not even prominent feminists, complain about it.
Of course. Like any other gang of political manipulators, if they keep creating problems, they can always continue running on a platform that promises to solve the same problems that they create.
The more miserable women are as a whole the better off the feminists are, since they exploit that misery.
Feminism commits the same crimes it accused the "patriarchy' of. It objectifies women as victims. It also brainwashes many women into believing they are oppressed by the "patriarchy" when feminism is oppressive.

Feminism's typical response is to find a way to blame all of it on men.
"Attempting to commit suicide" must be a "gateway" act to making a false rape accusation.
She was 14.
She was 14.
And? As you have no doubt read, in the comments under the Patrick Waring post, your hypocrisy knows no bounds. Her lies are acceptable, because she was 14, but his lies aren't acceptable, even though he was 15. And considering that we are constantly bombarded with the message that girls mature sooner than boys, then shouldn't she be held to a higher standard?
I have to agree with Sonny under the other thread. Glad that for "ernest feminists" you don't really get just how ridiculous this type of thing makes you look, and how your credibility goes out the window to anyone reading what you post.
Still waiting to be exonerated
exonerated today
