Here's an interesting note from reader Jason P. I wouldn't read it on an empty stomach:
Here's a follow-up on your excellent John and Lorena Bobbitt expose. Mrs. Bobbitt's mayhem is widely considered the ultimate act of feminist vengeance, but if the feminists stopped to think about why they celebrated the act of chopping off a penis, they would realize that their celebration was downright misogynistic.
Just consider the following: Lorena Bobbitt's mutilation of her husband was a modern day reenactment of a scene played out over and over among ancient warriors, and even in modern times among some primitive warriors.
Ancient warriors routinely sought to "feminize" their defeated enemies in one way or another, either by killing or castrating them.
The most certain way to feminize a defeated people was to execute all the men and boys. This was a very common practice in the ancient world. It's been employed in modern times, too. Serb forces did this very thing in Bosnia in the mid-'90s when they killed 7,000 men and adolescent boys and raped the women (for Hillary Clinton and like-minded feminists, the rapes were worse than the murders). While more civilized conquerors do not line up all the males and kill them, they routinely imprison large segments of the male population, which in a very real sense, feminizes the population.
Another common way to feminize the enemy in the ancient world was to take the penises and testicles of both captives and dead enemy combatants. Ancient warriors, including the Egyptians, Gallas, Somalis and Abyssinians, were known to take male genitalia of their defeated enemies as war trophies. What better way to humiliate the enemy than by feminizing them?
Ancient drawings depict mounds of severed genitalia of defeated enemies. Sometimes conquering warriors would take the severed prizes to their kings, or to the women they wanted to marry. Other times, the organs would be displayed on a public road to shame the enemy. In the year 1300, one ancient Egyptian king, Menephta, collected 13,000 uncircumcised penises after defeating an invading Libyan army. An ancient monument chronicles the number of penises and their origins.
Some African tribes allegedly still practice the gruesome custom of taking penises as war trophies. And if you are really in the mood for a little gendered mahhem, read "Marine Sniper" by Charles Henderson. Mr. Henderson devotes a chapter to the so-called "Apache Woman," a sadistic female VC sniper who, among other things, supposedly performed a live castration on a young, captured U.S. soldier.
While taking penises of defeated enemies might sounds like a feminist's wet dream, in reality, it was the supreme subjugation, the ultimate humiliation, because it symbolically made the enemy like women.
We all know how feminists detest the slightest implication that anything "feminine" is equivalent to weakness. But when feminists were celebrating Mrs. Bobbitt's brutal act of cutting off her husband's penis, on a primordial level they, themselves, obviously didn't even realize, they were really celebrating his total humiliation -- at becoming like a woman.

Interesting. If women's vaginas were routinely cut out and used as war trophies in ancient times, that's all we'd hear from the feminists.
Outstanding comment from Jason.
"Mrs. Bobbitt's mayhem is widely considered the ultimate act of feminist vengeance, but if the feminists stopped to think about why they celebrated the act of chopping off a penis, they would realize that their celebration was downright misogynistic."
That's true, but you know, I think that might be the point, "Haha, now you're just like one of US!".
It's either that, or some kind of xenophobia on the part of women where they literally cannot tolerate someone being different from them, but getting kicks out of injuring or removing men's penises and testicles is NOT limited to card-carrying feminists. I would say 80% of women have injured a man's genitals, talked about injuring a man's genitals, or thought about doing it.
For some reason, it's a shared proclinity among women.
It either arises from self-hate, other-hate, or a mixture of both. It's hard to tell because a lot of women are batshit crazy to begin with and you can't exactly ask them the reason behind it.
"For some reason, it's a shared proclinity among women."
Sorry, that should be *proclivity*.
" If women's vaginas were routinely cut out and used as war trophies in ancient times"
Talking about the ultimate act of vengeance, there have been men who have actually CUT out the reproductive organs of women. These women were randomly selected, unlike Bobbitt who had a nasty habit of raping his wife.
"there have been men who have actually CUT out the reproductive organs of women."
Name one.
"These women were randomly selected, unlike Bobbitt who had a nasty habit of raping his wife."
False accusation.
"Talking about the ultimate act of vengeance, there have been men who have actually CUT out the reproductive organs of women. These women were randomly selected, unlike Bobbitt who had a nasty habit of raping his wife."
Evidence, please?
You know, there was ample testimony in HER trial of her abusing him. Doesn't matter to you? I thought not.
Evidence?
For starters, Jack The Ripper. More recently several women were kidnapped and tortured by the same psycho here in the U.S. One victim somehow escaped wearing only a leather "collar" around her neck.
Are you denying there are plenty of women whose reproductive organs have been permanently injured?
The Bobbitt case is pale, considering.
"Are you denying there are plenty of women whose reproductive organs have been permanently injured?
The Bobbitt case is pale, considering. "
Considering what, Anon? Considering that you are a man-hating psychopath, so that kind of statement makes sense to you?
God help any little boys you come in contact with. You're not fit to be loose on the public.
"Are you denying there are plenty of women whose reproductive organs have been permanently injured?
The Bobbitt case is pale, considering."
You don't get the POINT. You have missed it by a mile.
A minority of men and a minority of women do sick things.
BUT, what a man does something sick, like mutilate a woman, EVERYONE stands up to condemn him. MEN AND WOMEN ALIKE.
When Lorena Bobbitt mutilates an innocent man, WOMEN STAND UP TO CLAP AND CHEER AND LAUGH.
That is the difference, which you apparently missed. While a small minority of women would do anything so sick, a SUBSTANTIAL number of women, possibly even a majority, are also sick and twisted perverts who APPLAUD that kind of thing.
You complain about a man who mutilates women - you'll find few men who disagree that that is disgusting.
Yet when the tables are turned - when it's a woman mutilating men - do women agree that it is disgusting? Or do they think it's "not so bad"? Even "funny"?
You, yourself, give off the impression that violence and mutilation against women is somehow WORSE than violence against men.
If this is indeed true, then unlike the majority of men, you're a sick and twisted, sadistic pervert.
"For starters, Jack The Ripper."
No, Jack the Ripper murdered his victims. While who he killed is a subject of debate, of the five victims generally not in dispute, three three did not have any sexual organs removed. Stride and Nichols were not missing any organs, and Kelly's body was eviscerated and her face hacked away, but only her heart was missing from the crime scene. Chapman and Eddowes had their uteruses removed, and Eddowes also had a kidney removed and her face mutilated.
Regardless, the reason Jack the Ripper is so notorious is because of the extreme rarity of his actions. So the suggestion that his behavior is somehow indicative of what "men do" is ludicrous on its face.
And completely unlike Lorena Bobbitt, there was not a group of people defending and applauding him. Quite the contrary, to this day he is synonymous with the embodiment of evil.
So give us an example of a man who cut out a woman's genitals who was turned into some sort of minor folk hero, and then maybe you might have some kind of point.
Anon at 12:54 is right.
Anon at 12:26: go back and read my post on Bobbitt. I barely spent a paragraph talking about the actual mutilation. Yes, it was terrible, but no worse than a lot of other terrible things. And, yes, women are sometimes victimized. There are Jack the Rippers, and there are Jeffery Dahmers, who target young men (he saved their penises as trophies, by the way).
The Bobbitt case was despicable because of the reaction. Yours included.
"And completely unlike Lorena Bobbitt, there was not a group of people defending and applauding him. Quite the contrary, to this day he is synonymous with the embodiment of evil."
Exactly. In response to Lorena Bobbitt you can hardly say, "but what about Jack the Ripper!"
The former's vile acts were celebrated by equally vile women. The latter was always condemned as evil by men and women.
But oh no, it's exactly the same, guys ... men are clearly just as bad as women ...
"There are Jack the Rippers, and there are Jeffery Dahmers,"
There is also a significant number of female serial killers, who killed more people than both of those men put together.
As I said in my Bobbitt post, the reaction was thoroughly disgusting to me. I was actually shaken by it, which is why I decided to write an extensive piece exploring that hideous affair.
The point that people didn't high five each other about Jack the Ripper is exactly the point. I didn't see any Pulitzer Prize winners applauding Jack the Ripper.
For the benefit of this threads troll I will add that I've had the privilege of watching thousands of women leap to their feet to cheer women who raped boys as young as ten. On prime time free-to-air TV at that. There isn't a dry seat in the house.
The Bobbitt mutilation, Oprah Winfreys celebrations of female rapists, the women of Australia sponsoring foreign women to my country to have sex with kids. These things all serve as a demonstration of the hipocrisy and vile sadism of far too many western women.
Trollbaby at 11:18:00 AM is very probably one of those women who gets drenched at the thought of any male being brutalised by a female. Even boys aren't safe from these ghoulish perverts.
""there have been men who have actually CUT out the reproductive organs of women."
Name one."
Awww, come on! None of you guys know this one?
Ed Gein. They even did a movie about him recently, he made a belt out of human nipples and had several vaginas in a shoebox.
But what I find interesting is that the kind of men who'd do stuff like this are the very bottom of the barrel, Gein was a necrophiliac, cannibal, and rapist, whereas basically ANY woman could cut a man's penis off and feel no remorse about it.
The women they catch doing stuff like this are kindergarten teachers and dog groomers.
I think that's very telling.
EVERYBODY knew Ed Gein was weird, and that he was up to something, whereas a woman apparently can cut off a man's reproductive organs and have everyone convinced SHE'S the victim.
The day men across the nation applaud Ed Gein, the day Vanity Fair calls Ed Gein a folk hero, the day Ellen Goodman writes an article explaining why men applaud Ed Gein, the day men sell "funny" T-shirts calling for Ed Gein should be Surgeon General, the day men write to the New York Times saying that what Ed didn't should only be a last resort for men -- that's the day I'll take seriously feminist claims that "the Bobbitt case is pale."
And this is for the lunatic fringe: don't try telling me that Ed Gein is much worse than Lorena Bobbitt. That's not the issue here, despite the troll's effort to change the subject above. We are talking about the widespread feminist reaction to Mrs. Bobbitt.

Who on this blog said that serial killers are anything but horrible criminals who should be locked up forever? I have no problem with saying that Jack the Ripper was even worse than Lorena, but why should either of them get a free pass?
You're allowed to lock up both Jack the Ripper and Lorena the Castrator, you know.

Aileen Wuornos: An American Serial Killer, she was a prostitute and was put to death by lethal injection on the 9th of October, 1992. She was charged with killing seven men, who she claimed (attempted to) rape her while she was working as a prostitute.
"Vanity Fair calls Ed Gein a folk hero, the day Ellen Goodman writes an article explaining why men applaud Ed Gein, the day men sell "funny" T-shirts calling for Ed Gein should be Surgeon General, the day men write to the New York Times saying that what Ed didn't should only be a last resort for men -- that's the day I'll take seriously feminist claims that "the Bobbitt case is pale."
Preachin' to the choir,brother.
I'm a bit of a crime nut, and I know a bit about serial killer history, that's the only reason I pointed out ol' "Weird Ed" as the locals called him even before he was convicted.
That was my point.
No one applauds the kind of men who would do stuff like this, and in fact, the crimes they commit are considered to be arguably THE MOST diabolical in recorded human history, whereas a man being beaten to death or shot is "just another day in the big city".
So yeah, I agree 100%, and come to think of it, of all the serial killers I know of,Ed Gein and Albert Fish are probably the only ones for whom the claim could be made that they mutilated women's genitals, whereas in high school I had chicks trying to kick me in the balls everyday, many times for no reason at all and have had several women threaten me with castration in a "joking" context which I found highly disturbing then and still do.
Speaking of serial killers, are any of you familiar with the smiley face murders? Approximately 40 college age, well-built men (ONLY men!) have been targeted by what appears to be a group or network of murderers.
For some reason, it rarely occurs to people that these killings are motivated by misandry. Could they be feminists of some sort?
It is possible that they are either feminists or feminist sympathisers. They could be one or more females but, I believe law enforcement has not and will not consider such as the majority of them are "programmed" to assume that men are more likely to commit violent crimes more than women.
What I find interesting is that the person investigating the alleged smiley face murders was accused of sexual assault while searching for a missing student, whose body was then found in a way consistent with the other deaths. Both the accuser and the deceased went to the same school.
"Then I made the mistake of asking whether he knew he was the subject of a St. Paul police probe after a 19-year-old University of St. Thomas student told police Gannon sexually assaulted her last spring during his visit to help search for then-missing St. Thomas student Daniel Zamlen. Zamlen's body was found in the Mississippi River on May 1."

It's as if people are trying to stop the one person who is investigating this. Weird.

Numerous references to left-wing causes such as the plight of Native Americans and the environment and also to left-wing, anti-Christian poetry were found at some sites. If that really was left by the murderers -- assuming that these really were murders -- then they obviously were acting out their anti-capitalist, anti-male resentments.
Sure sounds like a feminist and her mangina goons to me! But I suppose that as an MRA I'm inclined to that view. Still, I find it disturbing that nobody seems to make the connection to feminism, even though all of these victims are men.
But I suppose that's because most people still can't grasp that feminists really do hate men, and want to hurt us. They aren't just harmless neurotics.
To be clear: I'm sure that 99.999% of feminists do NOT drive around in vans looking for drunken college boys to throw over a bridge.
But this *could* be a very small number of feminists (including males), based on college campuses.
It is not, and never has been, a victory for Feminists or Feminism. Only someone that would actually see her mutilation as some sort of trophy would ever ever assume such a thing.
BTW I am loving the list of female serial killers who have, now wait for it, killed more than two men put together....and your point is?
