False rape report leads to arrest of woman
The 35-year-old Goshen woman who fabricated a story about a police impersonator has been arrested.
Jaime Y. Skaggs was taken into custody by Elkhart County Sheriff's Department officers Thursday afternoon on a preliminary charge of false informing, a Class B misdemeanor. She is currently being booked at the Elkhart County corrections facility, and bond has been set at $1,500.
Police say on March 23, Skaggs told police she was raped by someone who had stopped the vehicle she was driving on Elkhart's northeast side. While her initial story was convincing, detectives assigned to the case conducted interviews, reviewed phone records, and determined the report was not true.

A $1500 bond is nothing. Lots of guys who post on this blog had to pay outrageous sums of money just to avoid being punished prior to even getting a trial -- if the bullshit made it to trial!
As usual the system bends over backwards to enable false rape accusers. The real miracle here is that she's even being charged.

Any feminist who says that "she just didn't want to press charges" is lying through her horse lips. She knows perfectly well that the legal system doesn't work that way.
The authorities don't drop charges if they have any kind of case, no matter what the "victim" (in this case a predatory fraud) wants. The Hofstra case was a clear-cut plain as day false rape accusation.
False Rape accusations should be a felony in all 50 states!
Being charged only with filing false police report is not enough and is an injustice to the falsely accused!

When I was in college I was told by the Rape Awareness Center on campus that a woman would never, ever, ever, ever lie about rape. Ever. She is always to be believed 100% of the time. Period.
It is this type of rigid misinformation that plants the seed of opportunity for exploitation in the minds of the deviant, influences the decision making process in the legal system and negatively conditions society as a whole.
