Middle-aged couple falsely accuses 18-year-old of rape, causes him to be jailed for ten days

A husband and wife are arrested for a false rape claim that jailed an 18-year-old man for ten days.  It is not clear what the husband did, but he was deemed equally responsible.

False rape claim couple jailed

A HUSBAND and wife have been jailed for nine months for making a false rape allegation in Maldon.

Mark Noble, 45, and wife Elaine, 43, of Mundon Road, Maldon, were charged with perverting the course of justice after she claimed she had been raped in the town on October 17 last year.

An 18-year-old man from the town was arrested but was released without any charge 10 days later.

Mark and Elaine Noble, who were arrested on November 13 and subsequently charged, were jailed yesterday at Chelmsford Crown Court.

Investigating officer, Dc Alison Cotter said: “These two people have carried out a gross disservice to every genuine victim of a sexual offence. An innocent suspect was arrested and had to go through the ordeal of being held in custody and undergoing a medical examination that is intrusive and personal.”

Idaho Senate votes to shield young men from rape charges

'BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Young males who have consensual sex with their 16- or 17-year-old girlfriends would be shielded from rape charges, under a bill passed 35-0 by the Senate.

Sen. Brent Hill, a Rexburg Republican, told lawmakers Monday he doesn't believe "an 18-year-old boy who makes an indiscretion with his 17-year old girlfriend should be considered a rapist or a criminal in the same category as those degenerates."

Idaho's age of consent for females is now 18.

With Hill's measure, which now goes to the House, men within three years of their 16-year-old or 17-year-old girlfriends could no longer be charged with rape after consensual encounters.

His bill leaves all fornicators - Idahoans who have sex out of wedlock, regardless of age - subject to six months in jail, under an old Idaho law.'

There is no logic to this at all.Why not just make the age of consent 16? That 3-4 year age difference exemption is common in a lot of places.
But did I read that last part correctly? They're still keeping the 6 month sentence for fornicators regardless of age? That would mean that although a young man couldn't be charged with rape for having sex with a girl within 3 years of his age, they could both still be charged with fornication!

If they hold the boy for fornication, I would be interested to know if they ever fornicated.

Eh?

Anyone who has sex in Idaho and is not married is committing a criminal offence?

What a fucked up place.

Diffusing the gender feminist perversion of our legal system will happen one case at a time.

The current gender feminist / law enforcement "manufactured statistics for federal dollars" perversion of our legal system is un-constitutional.
Get gender feminism and their "adgenda" out of our legal system..it is not only a perversion of justice..it is un-constitutional.

In this story, she claims she was raped in the town.

The only way I can figure that the husband would be held equally responsible is that he reported it to the police after his wife made the claim to him. This scenario probably falls under the "need for attention and sympathy" category. As the majority of us have suggested here on FRS, the couple should get whatever sentence the 18-year old would have received. Nine months? At least they are getting something, but I'll bet, if my hypothesis above is correct, that after they are out of jail that the husband will never take his wife's word on anything.

Only in the UK would they serve ANY time in jail.

If this was in the U.S. they might throw the guy in jail but the woman would never even be charged unless she falsely accused a cop.

Nice find!

And, lest we forget that there are also chivalrous white-knighting manginas in the Republican party as well, here we have yet another one, doing his damnedest to prop women up on undeserved pedestals as if they were always and forever blames victims of evil sex-addled deviant men who prowl about seeking to steal the honor of the young feminine flowers in the most debauched of ways. Young women, of course NEVER want to have sex, are NEVER willing participants, and are almost always drugged or plied with alcohol by their male predators.

Guy's like this A-hole make some fender-feminist seem almost sane by comparison.[/rant]

Just in case anyone didn't already know, one of my biggest gripes is when the stories fail to explain the motivations behind FRA's.

It is my personal belief that if the public were given a better understanding of the myriad of reasons (and, of course, some very common ones) women make these self-serving, yet highly damaging claims, then they would tend to accept that they can and do occur with alarming regularity. Too many people remain under the operating delusion that (sane) women would never lie about something so very important. If the were made to see just how often women do make them, sometimes just to cover their own asses, then they could better come to embrace the truth.[/rant]

Anyway, when ever the motives are kept from us, I like to speculate on just what might have occurred.

One might suspect that this couple had a personal grievance with this young man, and deliberately chose a claim that would cause him the greatest possible harm.

yet, my own speculation runs towards the idea that the wife actually had a consensual sexual relationship with this young man, which the husband eventually discovered. In an act of desperation, to cover her own ass, the wife likely threw out the claim that he had actually raped her (as we have seen in so many other instances).

While mad at his wife for her infidelity, the husband was never-the-less eager to gain revenge on his rival. Even men can make use of and FRA for revenge. His culpability likely lies in the fact that he knew full well that his wife had not been raped, but he had kept that fact hidden from police in an attempt to use the the might of LE to punish his wifes paramour and his rival.

Again, just my speculation. I'm not claiming that I know, for certain, that this is what happened. It's just an educated guess.

"Fender feminists"? They've got kits for that.

You'd think I'd learn to proof-read before posting.

And, NO, it wasn't a Freudian slip, born of some deep-seated desire on my part to run-down gender-feminists with a vehicle (just want to make that clear) - it was just a typo of the sort I'm prone to make when ranting.

To your defense and credit, the "F" and "G" keys ARE right next to each other on the keyboard. :) "Fender feminists," however, still makes me laugh. It could be a title to a new zombie horror movie: NIGHT OF THE FALSE ACCUSERS starring Village of the Damned Fender Feminists. Zombie gender/fender feminist men and women staggering around groaning "Brains! Brains!... no wait a minute... rape! rape!" Unfortunately, it would flop at the box office: the general public wouldn't get the joke and we falsely accused would be bored from it being too true-to-life.
But I bet you'll think about it next time you see a zombie movie at the theatres or on TV. :)

When you've been nifonged, every night is THE NIGHT OF THE FALSE ACCUSERS, and the night never ends. Most people feel duty bound to believe the liar until the end of time!

Lest we forget? Have we forgotten Nifong is ALSO in the Republican party?

There are definitely manginas in the Republican Party, although they think of themselves as tough-talking Dirty Harrys.
