They are partially named, which, including the city they are from should help people identify them.
A woman who claimed she had been brutally raped has admitted that she had in fact invented the whole thing.
Anjelika P., of Krosno Odrzanskie, originally told police that the attack had taken place in her own home, but came clean after investigators suspected that the story was false. Another woman, Dorota W., said that they were initially attacked on their way to work, but has since retracted her claim. “Neither of the women can explain why they decided to report a crime that never actually happened,” said police spokeswoman Agata Lubuska.
They now face up to three years in prison.

People continue to be mystified that women will do horrible things just for the hell of it if they face little risk of being punished.
But that's human nature -- something the feminists will never grasp.

You hear things like this all of the time involving women. They have no idea of why they do most things and are no different from children or are they really capable of seeing what the consequences of their actions are. They live in the present like children and whatever urge they have at the moment usually wins out. It's like trying to figure out why a 10yo thought he could drive a fire engine.
So just what did the two of them get up to while they were supposed to be at work?
Three years? Sounds like progress.
Maybe in time, the minimum sentence for an FRA will be closer to ten years.
It is encouraging to see the law enforcement get over the modern perversion of "no charges for false rape accusations".
Since the law enforcement initiated there changes to their protocol when dealing with rape accusations...it has fostered this new phenomena of the "false rape culture."
This false rape culture is not about helping women who have been raped ( because it may actually hurt them)..it is about power and control for the gender feminist community.
Enabling the false rape accusation culture is not about helping women who have been raped...it is about power and control for the gender feminists.
GOOD STUFF!!

That's nonsense. There are plenty of men who act the same way. The difference is that men are generally punished for their impulsive anti-social behavior.

Agreed. And so a greater number of men learn to NOT act impulsively.
I wouldn't say women are naturally more impulsive than men, but I would say that women's natural impulsiveness is allowed to run free at the expense of everyone else.
Please note that it says "may face up to three years", not "will face up to three years". There's a stark difference there. And knowing the bias of the law, they will walk with no more than a tap on the wrist.
Disgusting.

I can't speak for Poland but if this was in the U.S. they would have a better shot at hitting the powerball than seeing a day in jail.
It would be nice to know country by country what the usual sentence is for false accusers.
I notice that in country by country rape stats that countries in mainland Europe and Japan for instance show rape rates WAY WAY lower than in the U.S. so I wonder if they actually hold women accountable for false reports in those countries?
I think the rape rate in Japan is supposed to be twenty times lower than in the US! So obviously there is less of a problem with false accusations in that country.
America has a much higher rate of rape reporting than pretty much anywhere else, so you're left to wonder if there really are so many more rapists here, or if many of these reports are false.
Anon @10.04-I'm assuming that people can read between the lines and I don't have to spell everything out like I'm dealing with a 5 yo.

Well in the US it has generally been nothing and as far as I can see it's only in the last year that a few females have been getting some light punishment. I'm sure that the occasional female was punished in the past but it likely was connected to another crime committed in addition to the false rape report.
Other countries generally punish females for all crimes while in the US females are rarely given adequate punishment when they commit a crime. If a man and woman rob a bank and it was the female who concocted the job, the man will always get a stiffer sentence while the female gets probation or a light sentence much of the time.
Other countries have far lower incarceration rates than the United States, though, so a false rape accusation isn't quite as horrific. Still probably the worst experience a man can have, but at least a falsely convicted male isn't going to get a life sentence unless he lives in the United States.
Ironically, getting tough on the guilty can also involve getting tough on the innocent. But most people associated with the legal system live in a fantasy world in which they can do no wrong.

Yet, ironically, you are the one being childish by lumping all women together and then making ad hominem attacks.
