I think it's good, every once in a while, to illustrate what a Canadian feminist moonbat (and yes, I appreciate that this is a term of disparagement of "progressives") looks like. This was a comment from Ontario left under this post. Please note that as commentators here probably realize, any comment left on posts more than a couple days old requires approval. So, yes, dear, readers, I specifically approved this one -- for comic relief. (The reason we require approval for old posts: spam. This site is overrun with spam on old posts.) Here are her/his comments -- filed under ANONYMOUS, of course, with my comments throughout:
Hey, you want to know why the newspaper reports sexual assaults, whether attempted, false, or real, in such a fashion? TO WARN OTHER WOMEN. At the time of the rape, no one knows whether it was real or not, so it's better to warn the public. ALSO, the Toronto police were put on trial in the 80s for NOT warning the public about a balcony rapist, which could have prevented real rapes.

Nobody knows if the rape occurred -- when the rape occurred. Sounds like our brilliant commentator is convinced it was a rape, doesn't it? Teaching moment: Nobody is suggesting that a possible rape isn't news. We merely suggest that it be reported accurately. "A rape was reported and the only evidence police have is the word of the accuser." Now that would be accurate.]
Of course I agree that some women lie about being raped, just as some men lie about NOT raping. And just to let you know, more women are actually raped then those that lied about it. Go to a sexual assault clinic and see what rape does to people. Some women are made INFERTILE by the brutality of rape.

So she claims she doesn't wish rape on you, and in the very same sentence wishes rape on you! Perhaps this is deliberate satire.
If said event did happen, the only lesson you could learn is how little the criminal justice system cares about male victims of sexual offences.
The fact that someone who supposedly cares about rape victims wishes rape on others really shows what kind of human excrements (and I am using human loosely here) some feminists can be! Absolutely disgusting man-hating sexist feminist scum!

But it means there may be the potential for discourse to open up between feminists and rapists. They appear to have a lot in common, it seems - I've seen enough "I hope you get raped" comments from feminists to attest to this.

Rape the act is committed by individuals who are male and female, attacking other males and females.

She is also using the classic logical fallacy - the personal is the political. She (or someone she knows) was raped. Therefore, everyone woman has been raped.

The first type of tyrant is the irritator. The irritator is the type of person who does things or has a habit of just getting below the surface of your skin. The final type of tyrant is the Dictator. They are major tyrants and in fact seek to control and dominate your will and your energy. They are able to use any of the aforementioned methods to get what they want.
There are two other types of tyrants that are not external to us. They are the ways in which we tyrant ourselves either through our self-pity or our self-importance. When you have self-pity you avoid being accountable for your life, self-importance causes you to become attached to how others perceive you.
So understand the ability to tyrant you does not lie in the hands of the person who you perceive is tyranting you. It lies in the reality of you allowing yourself to feel tyranted. To be able to stop the process you must learn how to deal with the tyrants in your life. Because you allow it, the gift is knowing you can disallow it. There are a variety of things you must do to deal with the different types of tyrants, watch for next months article to find out how! In the meantime make a list of who the tyrants in your life and recognize how you allow them to have power over you. You must name it before you can deal with it.
So in an ideal world we stay anchored to the idea others can’t hurt us and we can’t hurt others and work towards simply being accountable for our own choices and keep our focus where we truly have control. Considering an ideal world doesn’t work, I believe it is important we learn to recognize how we allow others to tyrant us, and how we attempt to tyrant others."
So the nut freely admits that false rape accusations are a serious problem, and yet we're still supposed to ignore the problem. If we don't we're "misogynistic."
Apparently this joker thinks that being falsely accused of rape is a walk in the park. It's not. The long term consequences of a typical false rape accusation are far worse than those of a typical rape. You are never the same again after this, and lots of luck supporting yourself!

That was too funny. I'm glad that this kinds of comments don't appear too often. Whenever I do see them I feel like everyone gets sucked into that persons whole "deal," for lack of a better word, and it detracts from the subject at hand.

This is so crazy I can't imagine there are many people like that, even among feminist circles. I believe feminism is a harmful, misleading ideology but there can't be many as twisted as this person. Anyone else come across this before?
