Reported sexual assault results in false alarm

The Lyndon State community woke up to disturbing news Tuesday morning after an alleged sexual assault was reported.

A further investigation by police concluded the student, whose identity has not been revealed, filed a false report, according to an e-mail from President Carol Moore to students and faculty. George Hacking, director of public safety, confirmed the report was false and said the state police will be filing charges against the student for filing a false report.

Jonathan Davis, associate dean of student affairs, sent out a campus warning to students and faculty Tuesday morning in regards to the reported sexual assault. The report claimed that an unidentified male had crawled through a first floor window in Stonehenge around 1:00 a.m. At the time of the reported assault, neither a description of the assaulter nor any other suspects were available. Jonathan Davis was not available for further comment at the time of publication.

Hacking stressed the need for students to understand the report filed by the student was false and said, "We are as safe today as we were before the report came in." Hacking acknowledged it would be unwise to not learn from the incident. "We recognize there are ways to get into the residence halls if you really want to," Hacking said, "we have some control over that but it's really the students responsibility to take control."

In order to prevent intruders from getting into the buildings, students need to report people who are propping open doors or leaving windows open, Hacking says. "We need the assistance of the community," he said.

Since the false sexual assault was reported, Public Safety has increased patrols in Stonehenge and specifically in the Crevecoeur area, Hacking said. "One of the more positive side effects of the incident," says Hacking, "is that the patrols are going into suites and finding the suite doors are now being locked."

In regards to handling reports of any kind, Hacking says you must always assume the report is real. When the call went out that an alleged sexual assault had taken place on campus, public safety officers, including two student officers, immediately responded to the area, where they contacted the RHD on duty. At the same time, the state police were notified and arrived on campus and began investigating the incident, Hacking said. Three uniformed officers, one with a canine to search for a possible suspect trail and four detectives were on campus, Hacking said.

"I came in as did Jonathan Davis as soon as we were notified," says Hacking.

Hacking did note the emergency texting system worked well but, "we're still working out some bugs with the email system."

What happens to a society that is (in effect) forced to believe what is not real.
Rape hysteria which is fomented by believing there are rapes behind every closed door in America (which is simply un-true) turns a sound legal system into a sort of "KLAN COURT".

Rape hysteria does give the gender / Raunch community on college campuses a disproportionate amount of sway over campus politics!!

Here are the lessons from this story: ". . . you must always assume the report is real." And even when you find out it isn't, you must still shape your conduct in accordance with a belief that it was real. False reports teach us to fear sexual assault, and scary men, every bit as much as actual reports.

The one thing we never seem to learn from false reports is the destructive power and evil of -- you guessed it: false reports. The one thing we never do is is mold our conduct to reduce false reports.

Female gets 9 years for boy rape:

A Teesside woman who had sex almost 200 times with a 12-year-old boy has been jailed for nine years.

Angela Sullivan gave the boy a pair of trainers as a reward when he slept with her for the 100th time.

The 36-year-old of Cavendish Road, Middlesbrough, admitted 10 specimen charges of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

The court heard she corrupted her victim after getting him drunk and performing a sex act on him.

Acting Det Insp John Wrintmore said: "Angela Sullivan has clearly preyed on, and taken complete advantage of a vulnerable young boy, and exploited the situation of having extended contact with him as he was a friend of her own son.

"Sexual offences of any type, particularly where children are the victims, are treated extremely seriously by the police and courts and this sentence clearly demonstrates the consequences of such actions."

He praised the "courage and strength" of character of the victim throughout the case.

AfOR: I guess the victim "wanted" it, and that's why he "had sex" and wasn't raped? Funny that a twelve year old girl never "wants" it.

@ Archivist.

mm, the point *should* that even if he did want it, he is too young to consent, ergo it is rape, and it is, she was charged and jailed for rape.

even the bloody BBC is so feminist controlled that even in an extreme circumstance like this, they cannot bring themselves to use "woman" + "rapist" together.

Nota Bene...

Roman Polanski, he only "had sex" with his "victim" once, not 200 times.

Silly me, Polanski is male.

Also, note how whenever it is a female perp, or female victim, none of these news websites have comments enabled, but when it is a male perp, or a male victim, comments are always enabled.

I cite Polanski because his "victim" was also 12 years old, and from memory he was about 40 at the time.

Exactly right, AfOR. Little boys, like men, possess the free moral agency to do anything. Little girls, like women, do not. But when the boy is this young, and the woman takes advantage of him so many times, even the courts can't turn their heads from that. If the genders were reversed, the man would probably get 200 years.

Certain segments of the media are commenting, saying that this kids schoolmates knew all about it, and used to call him by the nickname "manballs" as testament to his virility, eg being able to fuck a mature woman.

(baby boys get erections before they get out of nappies)

Imagine if the genders were reversed, and the media reports that the schoolmates call the girl by the nickname "womancunt" as testament to her virility, eg being able to fuck a mature man.

False accusations of rape are the female equivalent of adult rape, and should be punished accordingly. Even when there is no accused male victim, and no one is found fitting some imaginary description, false reports have the same societal effect on women. They incite fear, anger, and hatred, and are especially triggering for real rape victims.

This woman should be named, expelled, and prosecuted.

Hey, wait a minute, i thought women and girls would NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, lie about rape??

I'm afraid I have to correct some of the posters here - simply to point out that Polanski's 'victim' was in fact 3 weeks short of turning 14, she was not '12'. And just so to add a bit of vital background information NO news media would ever state, the examining doctor describing her as an 'adult female' had nothing denoting forcible intercourse & NO medical evidence to corroborate her rape/sodomy claims. Hence, the plea bargain the mother in fact had pressed for simply for the girl's age. Meaning, it was unlawful sex with a minor not ‘rape’. In effect, the girl had made it up & I for one call her a false rape accuser.
