Woman who falsely accused man of rape, sending him to prison for 4 years, gets 1-3 years jail
A 27-year-old mother who falsely accused a man of rape - sending him to prison for nearly four years - was sentenced to one to ethree years behind bars yesterday.
"What happened in this case is one of the worst things that can happen in our criminal justice system," Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Charles Solomon said before shipping Biurny Peguero off to prison.
Peguero pleaded guilty to perjury last August, admitting that her claim of rape against William McCaffrey was fabricated.
McCaffrey, a Bronx contractor, was released from prison four months later.
"To Mr. McCaffrey, I am aware that nothing I can do or say can bring back the years he spent in jail," Peguero, a mother of two young sons, said prior to her sentencing.
"I want him to know that I will carry this guilt for the rest of my life, and words cannot describe how deeply sorry I am."
In court papers filed by her lawyers, Peguero said she was too drunk to remember the night of the alleged attack in September 2005 so she came to believe her lie.

Justice would be 4 years of anal rape.
It would also be the rest of his life on a sex offender registry and being considered a suspect ( or " person of interest " ) in future cases of rape(s). A life filled with shame and misery.
It also amazes me that guys still go and put their lives at risk for a country that values their lives this little.
Think about it his damages are PROVEN. Think of what it must have felt like for him to wait for a trial and be accused of something he never did. Then be convicted and serve 4 years in prison at risk of being killed every day for being there on a sex crime.
So he gets 20 years based on her WORD something happened. NO RAPE EVEN OCCURRED!!
But his 4 years in prison and plus the pretrial wait is only worth 1-3??
And prison for a woman is a vacation compared to what a guy faces. I'm sure she won't have a threat of being killed every day like he had. On that alone she should get life.
Also I know a female criminal that lives near me. She plead guilty to a bunch of federal charges and was to be sentenced to 1 year to 18 months in prison.
Want to guess how much time she served....NOT ONE DAY!
So this woman might be out by next week..if she goes at all.
That is an example of a sentencing disparity that is common in most places. It is like the disparity between how some parents punish boys and girls. Harsher punishment is reserved for boys, while gentler punishment girls.
Our feminized spheres of crime and justice are very similar; men get hard time and/or a steep fine, while women gat, for the most part, probation and small fines. If a woman has to serve any hard time or pay a steep fine, she can almost always rely upon a chivilarous male to save her from the harsh future men have after leaving prison/jail and, help her pay off the fine. IMHO, most women can always rely on some sort of vagina pass. The vagina pass is always available, even to false accusers. Look up the words Feminist Epistemology and feminist jurisprudence.

The system is being way too lenient with Biurny Peguero. This speaks volumes of injustice and illustrates the disparity between how our system judges and views men and women. The war against men MUST come to an immediate end.
She knew she was going to be found out. And btw, the prosecutor in this case was going for a higher sentence so that she would serve at least 4 years. The NY Post was harder on her than is usual but I think that's because people like me have been commenting for years about this stuff. The reporters who write these stories probably read the comments and can see which way the wind is blowing. I would suggest that the people who comment here also comment on the major big city papers too when these cases come up. You will start to see a change in the reporting.

1 to 3 years - what are the chances she'll even serve 1 year? Reading this story made me ill. That judge should be ashamed of himself and so should this piece of garbage woman.
The law enforcement should have been more dilligent in the first place when she first told her false rape accussation story. But you see a perversion has creeped into the law enforcement community over the last 15-20 years that leaves law enforcement (No longer protecting the innocent) but a near perversion to get convictions to feed their gender feminist bosses.
Get gender feminist missinformation and hysteria out of our legal system!!

Did you take a plea to something or go to trial? After 6 months behind bars, my husband doesn't think they will 'let him off' without admitting to something so the county won't be liable for a law suit.

We are waiting for trial now. It will be almost 2 years after the alleged crime before this is even over with. But I am worried about prison. He (myhusband) still believes he will be found innocent because he is innocent. I, however, read the blogs and know what happens over and over.
Anyway, I would love the opportunity to learn from your experience.

If you read the story in todays nypost.com you'll see that the victim, the falsely accused man, said as much about the cops and prosecutors. I do think though that things have been changing over the last year because now at least some females are being prosecuted and it's going to keep getting worse and worse for them until they understand that what they're doing when they make a false allegation is serious crime. I also think that people may be waking up because all of these rape, DV and child molestation complaints could not be possibly true.There simply are not that number of perverts around who would molest children and it has to be something that is very rare. The media is realy to blame by blowing up the handful of cases where a child has been molested and killed and created an artificial hysteria. Then you have a sex offenders list that has grown so large that it is meaningless, sort of like the terrorist watch list with 1 m names on it. I also think that after 20 years of these feminist inspired anti male laws that there are a sizable number of men who have been adversely effected by them and they are mad as hell and are not going to take it anymore.
IMHO, VAWA and feminist jurisprudence have pitted many men against the state. The state stands to get sued if the accused man is found innocent. This must be why the state does everything possible, and dirty, to coerce a man into pleading guilty to something that he, and GOD as his witness, did not do.
