ST GEORGE’S, Grenada, CMC – A woman whose accusation that she had been raped resulted in the arrest of a young man, has been charged with making a false report to the police.
Police said that Sharmanda Andrews, 21, has been placed on EC$7,000 (US$2,592) bail and will re-appear in court on December 21.
In October, Andrews claimed that she had been raped by the man, who is still in police custody, but when the matter came up in court, she did not make an appearance, but wrote a letter to the magistrate indicating that she had made false claims about the rape.
Court officials that if convicted, Andrews could be sentenced to a maximum of five years in jail.

I agree with the 5 years and sex offender registry for life.
But we have seen this too many times before.
It should read she faces up to probation or a book deal.
"I agree with the 5 years and sex offender registry for life."
Yup.
This is just another reminder that women lie about rape all the time.

Hey i thought women and girls NEVER, EVER, EVER, lie about rape??
Scott, you mentioned this a few days ago. It was suggested that I repost my post to you in hopes you will see it.
The post was:
Scott said My false rape accuser also falsely accused another guy 1 year earlier. Society may find out that there are "serial false rape accusers" that are in fact a serious public health hazard. It is a perversion of our law enforcement community to enable these girls.
Were you allowed to bring this up during the trial? My husband's accuser is also a habitual accuser. I am worried the judge won't allow us to submit this.
Thanks

That is why, IMHO, these female scum should be locked away, in solitary, with only their thoughts for company and till their very bones decompose, that crying wolf doesn't pay.
The current trend of slap-on-the-wrist sentences (5 years, probation, fines etc) is cranking even more serial accusers out of the system when they realise that the bare minimum is all they will receive. It doesn't help to find out that these serial accusers are also drunk on the power they wield when they make false accusations. And for those who call for the full 5-year sentence, bear in mind that parole regulations indicate that she will only serve a fraction of it, with the remainder jettisoned on "good behaviour".
I read somewhere (correct me someone?) that there are courts who also release serial accusers "on burden on guilt". That simply doesn't work either. Not in my book, it doesn't. These women eschewed the right to their conscience when they made their first false accusation.
CB-GIRL why did your husband get accused of rape, how did he meet this girl who accused himk?
??
CB-GIRL why did your husband get accused of rape, how did he meet this girl who accused himk?
He got accused of this crime because he would not be blackmailed. She seduced him and then threatened him. He would not give her what she wanted.
He met her through her (male)roommate that he gave a ride to because he was walking down the road with a small child. He felt badly for them so stopped to help them.
He tried to help these people. He even fixed her door jam and lock on her apartment for her.

He had sex with a girl he just met while he was married to you?
No, he did not. The charges are not rape but are sexual in nature. THIS IS A FALSE ACCUSATION!!!! But no, he did NOT have sex with her!!!
Regardless if he was unfaithful in any way does not make him a criminal. Infidelity deserves divorce not 20-life.

You said she seduced him, is that what your husband told you. She lived with another man, yet your husband did her house repairs. You can't know the all of the truth, you weren't there.
Yes she lived with another man and his wife.
I do know she has accused others of false rape and has been prosecuted for it. When this is over I will sue her for everything she will ever have.
And yes, my husband helps people with home repairs for free when they are poor. It is sexist for you to think that just because a man lived there, he was able to replace a lock. Not everyone can fix things. A year ago he worked on an elderly lady's porch (from our church)for free.
This is final communication with an obviously young naive woman. Talk to me again when you have 20+ more years of life experience.

Maybe by then I will be as wise and knowledgeable as you.
