I saw some misinformation in an article published here, so I did what I normally do, and what I hope you do, too. I wrote to them. Here's my note:
Patty Tvaroha, adult community educator at the Advocacy Center, was quoted as saying in the Nov. 13, 2009 Ithacan Online: ". . . the false reporting of a rape is the same as any other crime, around 2 percent."
This is wrong. Even the FBI puts the number at four to seven-and-one-half times greater than for all aother crimes. Kindly advise us of your source and I will post your response on my website, The False Rape Society. Thank you.

How long is the discredited, disgraced 2% factoid going to be used, huh? Much like the canard that women earn 76% of what men make has been soundly disproved, the 2% factoid has been soundly and repeatedly debunked. Why is it that the 2% lie is still treated as Gospel truth?
I'm pretty sure that lady I think her name is Lisa Bloom was also saying the 2 percent BS on TV during the Hofstra Hoax.
I might be wrong on this I was not paying full attention but I'm pretty sure.
So someone needs to enlighten Patty.
Or ask for irrefutable proof.
