A chance for victims of FRA to tell their stories

Below is the contact information for Kayleen Schaefer, with whom I have been in contact. She is writing an article for Details Magazine on FRAs, and she is looking to speak with those who have been falsely accused. She is looking for someone to be the centerpoint for her story. This is your chance to reach a mainstream audience. I strongly recommend that you contact her at your earliest convenience to tell her your FRA story, if you are willing to help.

I am actually writing a very similar story. I am currently a journalism student at Indiana University and working this project for my magazine reporting class. I plan to submit the story to the magazine The American Prospect. Those interested in sharing their stories with me or who know someone who has experienced this, please feel free to contact me to your convenience at azb@indiana.edu.

Thank you Alex.

When completed, please let us know. We would be interested in finding out how the project is received by staff and students, and look to running the piece here on this site.

Veldan,

Thanks for that post. I was in contact with her on that when you made the post, but I wanted to get her permission before I made it a seperate post here.

I would jump at the chance to do this, even if it meant falsely accusing someone of falsely accusing me.

...hey, wait a minute - if I did that, I'd probably be jailed for ten years! After all, false reporting of a crime is a serious offense, isn't it?
