Email the prosecutor? Don't know if that's a good idea...
I think a good question is "Why are brusies less than 12 hours old Yellow and Brown?
I'm not a Forensic Pathologist but even I know the color of new and old bruises.
Interesting why the Women is not in jail.
anon,
Why wouldn't it be a good idea? They are public officials. You have every right to make your opinion known to individuals who make thier living off of the public dime.
anon2,
She used the get out of jail free card, crying rape. That is the same thing that Crystal Mangum did in the Duke case. She was about to be arrested for violating her probation (in this case it appears to be a violation of the agreement worked out after a DUI arrest), and used it to get a pass.
I'm sure that's typical.
Being so afraid of prosecutors that you won't let them know of your displeasure with them grants them more power than they are owed.
Outside of their jurisdiction, they are just another joe.
Be very careful when Emailing a prosecutor, regardless of jurisdiction.
"Be very careful when Emailing a prosecutor, regardless of jurisdiction."
If you believe emailing prosecutors requires care, some advice as to what care is required would be constructive.
It's simple Anon, they know the laws better and use them to their advantage. They are a protected class of "immortals".
I'm sure there are fair and ethical prosecutors out there but, who they are, I do not know. Those who do their job fairly and ethically, the manner in which they are supposed, within the parameters they are supposed to, I have no problem or beef with them. It is prosectors such as former state prosecutors like Mike kNipHong ( kniphong/Nipong), Jody Stutsman Vaughan and, other like them that envoke my anger. I do believe I'm correct when I refer to these two as predatory prosecutors and disgraces to those prosecutors who would never consider committing the heinous and dispicable acts they have committed.
I will say it again, true justice is never satisfied by the blood, suffering or death of the truely innocent.
That entire profession is rotten. They know what's going on.
Ask just about any prosecutor and they'll claim that the criminal justice system NEVER convicts innocent people. They're delusional.

True, they do have a knowledge of law advantage, and probably aren't as daunted by the prospect of taking legal action as your average joe.
However, rottenness always festers in dark places. No matter who you are, if you are up to no good the last thing you want is attention from other people. The sociopath instinctively clings to secrecy.
Kevin Driscoll's fate has some chance of being re-determined only because questions are being asked, and lots of people want answers. Should the prosecutor attempt counter legal actions against concerned inquirers, the already growing numbers of concerned people would multiply. He or she would be increasing exposure of a kind that I expect they already feel they have too much of.
It is secrecy that elevates the public perception of their omnipotence. Shine a light on them, and watch how quickly their conduct straightens up. Shrink from doing this, and you have only yourself to blame for the creation of a nation of inquisitioners.
I should add that a civil single e-mail to any prosecutor, free of any threatening language, is highly unlikely to result in any adverse consequences.
Also, do not attempt to maintain a running dialog. Limit yourself to one communication. You are not trying to change his/her mind with an e-mail - you're just adding one more vote to a growing number who are making it clear this case is, on the face of it, very disturbing.

The scary thing is most of the general public believes the same thing; " the criminal justice system NEVER convicts innocent people. "
