Another one. Is there no end to this madness? A teenage girl has been arrested and charged in connection with a false rape claim against six teenage boys. Read that again: six. She obviously didn't worry that it would be her word against six.
This is similar to a rash of recent cases. A teenage girl is able to turn the lives of a group of boys upside down by accusing all of them of rape. Once again, the word of one young female is credited over the word of several young males. They are put through hell for days, weeks, or here, months, until, apparently, the truth is so obvious the rape claim cannot proceed. The victims of false rape claims are getting younger and younger, it seems, and false rape accusers are becoming emboldened enough to claim that multiple boys raped her.
Is it any wonder they are becoming emboldened when so little is done to punish them?

A SCHOOLGIRL who accused six teens of gang rape after a school prom has been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
The 16-year-old told police youths, then aged between 17 and 18 years old, launched the sex attack after the end-of-term party at Swavesey Village College.
But the teenagers answered bail yesterday at Parkside police station and were told no further action will be taken.
The father of one of the accused teens has spoken of his relief and how his son was “shunned” by some of his friends from the school.
The parent, who did not wish to be named, said the allegations hanging over the youngsters caused three months of misery. He said: “This has distressed six young men who were having a night out with their friends.”
The six were accused of the attack just a few hours after the end-of-term school event in Gibraltar Lane on June 28.
The girl claimed she was seriously sexually assaulted multiple times over several hours on a playing field.
Now the youths could be asked to make a victim impact statement if the case reaches court.
A police spokeswoman said: “A 16-year-old girl from the Cambridge area has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to pervert the course of justice. She has been bailed to appear at Ely police station on November 10. Five 18-year-old men and one 17-year-old boy who were arrested on suspicion of rape have been released with no further action.”
The allegations rocked the village after a night of mayhem on its streets when revellers ran amoc after the party.
Martin Johnston, chairman of Swavesey Parish Council, wants the village to put the night behind it.
He said: “We had general concerns about the behaviour of some of the youngsters in the village and have worked closely with the police. I hope the village can now draw a line under the episode.”
Officers were called to two incidents that night as drunken youths “ran riot”.
Cambridgeshire police confirmed officers attended two reports of “rowdy, nuisance behaviour”.

I hope someone is paying attention to these false rape claims. Someone who can change the laws and prosecute these 'women'.
Every day I read here another horror story. I must say, I am afraid to interact with anyone any more who isn't from church or my family.
I wanted to volunteer for Big Sisters or something but now I won't for fear someone would accuse me of some horrible crime.
This has reached the level of being an epidemic. It must be stopped!!!!

Just an FYI for those following my husband's case...
Bond was reduced today. May as well stayed at 500k. Can't do a property bond because I have a mortgage.
Husband was finally taken to the doctor and was diagnosed with MRSA. He got it in jail and has had it for 2.5 months. He could have died.
Innocent until proven guilty? Not here in the US....they are just empty words.

You mention the false accusers getting younger and younger...And i say this is what is being taught to children in school.
Gender / Raunch culture..are the two main philosophies being taught at most all schools these days.
Gender teaches that false rape acussations are all for the better, as it attacks males.
And raunch teaches...well.. Raunch culture.

I questioned a full on, loud mouth, hysterical gender feminist women about this..and guess what??
She got loud, (arrogantly loud), and got in my face, and nearly attacked me because i was "uppity" enough to suggest that.. yes some girls lie about rape.
I've asked this before and I'll ask it again: why are recidivism rates more than one third lower for convicted sex offenders than for other felons?
Isn't that exactly what you would expect if one out of three men convicted of rape were innocent?

sorry to hear you are going through tough times. That 500k sounds even higher than Duke - i think each of those three had 400k set. I'm convinced those boys would be in jail right now if there parents weren't well off.

Thanks Norm. It's 'for show'. It's lowered to 150k now but I still don't have anything close to the amount I need to get him out.
I didn't realize until today that the DA did bond reduction negotiations. I thought the judge made those decisions. Who knew?

LOL- If i had $22k, I would buy an attorney instead of spending it on bail. They just let someone out who is an habitual child molester for a 20k bond.He really is, not falsely accused. Doesn't make sense to me.

It is often the case that "victims" act in certain ways to "drive" the prosecution of their case. Even in regard to issues which one would not expect them to have a great deal of influence over.
On such issue is that of just what sort of plea offer will be made in a case, another is the issue of bond amount. If a supposed victim is insistent that they fear reprisals from their alleged attacker, this will often influence the prosecutor to either seek higher bond, or fight against a bond reduction.
They are not alway correct in the steps they may take, but prosecutors tend to see themselves as protectors of victims. This is often why they seem to demand unreasonably high bonds. The victims (their de facto clients) convince them that they fear the alleged perpetrators release.
In a truly just system, if their allegations are proven to be false, such "victims" need to suffer enhanced consequences for such continuing manipulations of the justice system.
No one else is 'afraid' of him. He was out today washing squad cars, unattended in the parking lot outside the fence.
I am now on a first name basis with the jailers, no one believes this happened. The bail bondsman said that his first impression was that a woman was blackmailing a man. That's exactly what happened. The bondsman even offered 30% off his normal fee although it's still enough to buy a lawyer so it didn't help.
He spoke with 2 officers today while washing cars and they KNOW what his accuser is like. Apparently they have been over there on more than one occassion.
No One believes these accusations are true EXCEPT the female DA.
No one will help us either. It is a nightmare!!

Those people are constantly trying to get in the papers. The public is a rioting mob that can't wait to throw away our legal protections.
