Pro football players sum up the state of the world when it comes to rape accusations

Pittsburgh Steelers are speaking out about the rape civil lawsuit filed against quarterback Ben Roethlisberger: They are angry about the allegations. Nose tackle Casey Hampton summed it up: "I know how the world is. In today's society, if anybody says anything, you're guilty until you're proven innocent. I know Ben and the type person he is, and I ain't even going to say anything about it (or) I'm going to go off." The news report further states: "Steelers center Justin Hartwig is unhappy that Roethlisberger is being judged publicly before any facts are revealed."

Wouldn't it be nice to have some of these high profile guys speaking up about this issue at times when it doesn't affect their team?

Theirs a greek epic about the "sirens" who were a group of women who would temp sailors to their shores, as the sailors passed through a rocky pass between two islands.
The sailors who answered the "sirens" seductive cries for help, invariably crashed their ships on the rocky ledges, and the women then looted the shipwreck.

Well, we were kind of hoping Alec Baldwin was going to break the ice on custody issues, but I don't recall hearing much about that lately. Maybe celebrities are too busy being celebrities.

Or maybe nobody wants to hear it.

Ah yes, there it is again. That secret, silent, no-expiration "refund policy" that exists in today's heterosexuality. One month, one year, two years, forty-five years, she has the right to change her mind at any time. Consent to sex on Friday night then call it rape Monday morning many years down the road. These losers have got it all figured out how to get rich quickly without playing the lotto.

It would be even nicer if they would contribute some of that Superbowl money to men's rights and other organizations that are battling false rape accusers.

yes, but then in the name of 'equality', feminists would demand that they contribute to rape victims' funds, then anther group for DV shelters, then another for women's sports scholarships...

It would open a real can of worms.
