Woman fabricated sexual assault story
PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - The 25-year-old woman who reported sexual assault Wednesday in her home was re-interviewed Thursday. She admitted to fabricating the entire story.
Kent County will charge her for filing a false police report.
The woman originally reported that a man came to her door, claiming to be a maintenance worker. He said he needed to repair some drywall, and then attacked her. He was armed with a knife, she told police and 24 Hour News 8.
Two weeks ago, a maintenance worker started patching a wall in the woman's apartment, and had not finished the job, she said. So when a man came to her door Wednesday, claiming to work for maintenance, the woman said his story was not completely suspicious.
She lives with her fiance and parents in the 4100 block of Spruce Hollow.
When 24 Hour News 8 spoke with her Thursday, all she would say is that she retracted her statement.
There have been a number of false reports for assault and sexual assault in the past few years.

Extreme gender feminist dominated areas have a much higher percentage of false rape accusations / false domestic violence accusations then other areas of the country.
The more gender feminist agitation propaganda, the more the false accusations flow like a sewer drain.
I must say, I'm extremely grateful for this av ante guard, very informative website.
I didn't think it could be done...but you guys are doing it!!
"When 24 Hour News 8 spoke with her Thursday, all she would say is that she retracted her statement."
Since she's been charged, one wonders if she'll be required to explain herself in court (assuming it gets that far).
Even then, it seems unlikely that the press will follow-up and reveal to the public her motives.
I, for one, tend to believe that it would be useful for the public to know the reasons why women lie about rapes -- seeing the motivations (like covering up for affairs or other inappropriate behaviors, for revenge, or just to get attention) would, in my estimation, go a long way towards dispelling the the deeply ingrained doubts of, "why would a woman want to lie about something so serious?", which is is what allows the big lie of "women never lie about rape" to live on.
If I may be so bold, I'd like to suggest that you guys keep a running tally of the number of instances of false rape allegations, categorized as to the evidence of falsification (recantation, clearly disproven by investigation, etc.); as well as by the(apparent) motivation for the allegation.
I'd like to be able to have hard numbers of verified false rape allegations that I can cite to others (those unaware of the depth of the problem).
I think that a simple count would be fairly easy, while the categorizations would obviously take more effort.
Also, although it would probably even more difficult to do, I think it would be especially instructive for the uninitiated to have a tally of the numbers of men adversely affected, and a simple categorization of what happen to them (arrested, detained, and questioned; lost job; health issues; lost family; held in jail awaiting trial; spent life savings on defense; etc.), as a way of quickly and effectively demonstrating the the detestation of of one of the greatest injustice perpetrated against men (selectively) by women (primarily).
BTW, if you were to come up with a format for recording the details of individual events in a database, I'd be willing to take a block of the archives to go through (I suppose it would only be appropriate that I be willing to help since I'm suggesting it).
IMHO, if a woman can lie about being raped, she can lie about being the victim of virtually any crime.
slwerner,
I have been working on just that. I have run into some problems with the integration with the website (security, mostly), and we should hopefully see something by end of august.
Didn't think to add the categorization. Thank you for the thoughts. I will incorporate that in.
Anonymous - "IMHO, if a woman can lie about being raped, she can lie about being the victim of virtually any crime."
This is very true. We SHOULD be long past the "sugar & Spice", women don't lie hyper-chivalry; and have come to grips with the reality that women are every bit as devious as men - perhaps even more so.
They can, and frequently do, lie about being the victims of all manner of crimes.
Yet, two specific types of crimes of which they often falsely claim to be victims are particularly harmful, and particularly devious.
The first is domestic violence claims. When false DV claims are made, it is typically to gain an advantage over a man, either to gain greater control over marital assets (i.e. "the house" in divorce), even worse, to gain primary custody of children and effectively lock men out of the lives of their children.
Bad as false claims of DV can be, as this site so effectively demonstrates, the potential negative effects of false rape claims are so much greater still. These false rape claims are easily the worst false claims women routinely make against innocent men. And, they often do so for the scantest of reasons.
For instance, as is often the case a teenage girl whose been out "partying", and arrives home late and drunk can use the ruse of having been abducted and raped in an attempt to avoid punishment.
Likewise, a woman who's been cheating on a partner will often claim to have been raped to account for her behaviors. In both of these two all too common instances, a woman will gladly sacrifice a man, subjecting him to any manner of humiliation, imprisonment, and even death just so as to "save" her reputation.
Even the most mis-guided of chivalrous fool ought to be able to clearly see that doing something so callous and thoughtless is far beyond where chivalry was ever intended to extend.

Including assaults/aggravated assaults.
