Police thought they were dispatched to help a rape victim Tuesday night, but instead charged a Coos Bay woman with lying to 911 dispatchers.
Officers went to a room at the Pacific Empire Motel, 155 S. Empire Blvd., where they found several people, including Deanna L. Deroest, 26, who made the call. Police spoke to several witnesses, including Deroest, and determined no one had been raped.
Officers were leaving when 911 dispatchers reported they got two 911 hang up calls from the same phone number that made the initial rape report.
Police arrested Deroest on charges of initiating a false report and improper use of 911. She was taken to Coos County jail, then released on citation.

Wow. A false accuser actually gets arrested. Amazing.
Persistent Myths in Feminist Scholarship
'Feminist misinformation is pervasive. In their eye-opening book, Professing Feminism: Education and Indoctrination in Women's Studies (Lexington Books, 2003), the professors Daphne Patai and Noretta Koertge describe the "sea of propaganda" that overwhelms the contemporary feminist classroom. The formidable Christine Rosen (formerly Stolba), in her 2002 report on the five leading women's-studies textbooks, found them rife with falsehoods, half-truths, and "deliberately misleading sisterly sophistries." Are there serious scholars in women's studies? Yes, of course. Sarah Blaffer Hrdy, an anthropologist at the University of California at Davis; Janet Zollinger Giele, a sociologist at Brandeis; and Anne Mellor, a literary scholar at UCLA, to name just three, are models of academic excellence and integrity. But they are the exception. Lemon's book typifies the departmental mind-set.
...
All books have mistakes, so why pick on the feminists? My complaint with feminist research is not so much that the authors make mistakes; it is that the mistakes are impervious to reasoned criticism. They do not get corrected. The authors are passionately committed to the proposition that American women are oppressed and under siege. The scholars seize and hold on for dear life to any piece of data that appears to corroborate their dire worldview. At the same time, any critic who attempts to correct the false assumptions is dismissed as a backlasher and an anti-feminist crank.'

Psychiatrist Allegedly Forced Patient To Perform Sex Act To Receive Prescription
WSMV-TV
updated 10:52 a.m. CT, Tues., June 30, 2009
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A Madison-based psychiatrist is facing a rape charge after he was arrested on Thursday.
Police said Dr. Sam U. Castellani, 67, is accused of raping a 36-year-old female patient on March 23.
" Police charged him with one count of rape for allegedly forcing the patient to perform a sex act on him in order to receive her medication prescription. "
The police are charging him with rape. Get this part;
" she said during the appointment Castellani wrote out her prescription, placed it on his desk and then exposed himself. "

This is how braindead and feminized the police are in this city.

Karma, perhaps?
If this is another false rape accusation case, he should be looking at all of the cases he prosectuted where the accused may have been innocent. Imho, maybe this should have happened to Mike KNipHong

Isn't it?

What's amazing about that article is that it appears that these prosecutors -- including the woman who cried rape -- were into sexually fantasizing about and even acting out the lurid details of the rape cases they prosecuted, especially the most violent cases. This may even have been the reason they went into this particular line of work.
What sickos!
"Psychiatrist Allegedly Forced Patient To Perform Sex Act To Receive Prescription"
That individual is innocent until proven guilty.

Why is it so important to the (privileged identity groups) that currently dominate American politics to the true percentages of false rape accusations from the public.
That is an excellent question. I’d like to take a shot at answering it, if I may.
Let’s start by remembering that feminism isn’t about empowerment, it is about victimization. DV/Rape/Pay Gap/Affirmative Action Hiring, etc., are all about women being victims and needing special protection/assistance. Odd, isn’t it, how the CONSAD report disappeared just as Obama was announcing the Whitehouse Council on Women and Girls, who’s first priority was the Wage Gap? Coincidence? Doubtful.
Through the chivalrist actions of politicians, they have used this ‘victim’ status to lobby to get pushed through several laws ‘empowering’ them (VAWA/IMBRA/Title IX). The sad part is, these laws don’t empower women so much as they criminalize men. And that isn’t empowerment; it’s retribution for things that happened in the past, and hasn’t really affected a single member of the modern feminist movement, or its about things they can’t control without the law backing them up.
The ‘victim’ mantra has also resulted in the massive government funding of the DV/Rape industry. Make no mistake, the money and power is what this is all about now. It has nothing to do with ‘empowerment’ or actually reducing the level of crime. If they were honest about the true numbers on false rape accusations, then it would open the door to the general populace questioning their other claims, and their whole house of cards would come tumbling down.
This is where the internet has been such a useful tool for the MRM/FRM. The sharing of information, along with the speed of delivery is awesome. However, we have to be very careful not to allow censorship or serious government oversight of the internet. We know how difficult it is to get the word out via the MSM, so this really is, other than word of mouth, the best, and possible last, medium for the message to get out. We can’t allow that to be controlled.
Look at Iran, and what has been happening there. If it weren’t for Twitter, there would be no news getting out about what is occurring. Unfortunately, the press in the US has lost sight that with the freedom of the press, comes some responsibility. They have forgotten that the basic tenet of the media, is neutrality. And that is why they are dying.
What it boils down to, is that those privileged identity groups (read: feminism), don’t want to give up the money and power they have attained over the last 40 years. And they will fight tooth and nail to keep from losing either.
I don't think he's talking about feminists, though. I think he's talking about blacks, Jews, immigrants, homosexuals, atheists, and everybody who isn't him. On the other thread he was talking about how inhuman it was to want to join hands with black men to "wage a war against our sisters." I'm not sure what he was talking about, because I don't consider feminist man-haters to be a part of my family.
Anon,
Assuming you are responding to my comment, when the first anon in these comments mentioned false rape percentages, the people who obfuscate/lie about the true numbers the most, are those in the modern gender feminist camp.
That is what I took from the comment. YMMV
Most of the people who repeat the numbers are just misinformed. I wouldn't call everybody who isn't a white man "in the feminist camp." For one thing, whether in the camp or not, conservatives play along to the same tune that the feminists do, when they introduce crazy new laws that hurt innocent men. This is a bipartisan war against men in general, not some global conspiracy to divide white people in particular (as some have alleged on this blog).
Imho, when it comes to men's rights, race is irrelevant.
"This is a bipartisan war against men in general, not some global conspiracy to divide white people in particular (as some have alleged on this blog)."
Unfortunately, there is currently an unsavory element out there consisting of a significant number of people, who want to use MR movement 'leverage' to overthrow everything they consider 'liberal'. No matter how they label the target group, e.g. 'privileged groups', that is always what it always boils down too.
They start by trying to develope entire theories of history, such as certain versions I have seen lately of some sort of 'history of P.C.' And needless to say, they incessantly point to the idea that 'feminism started in the liberal camp.'
Then they construct all kinds of intricate 'cause-and-effect' networks that seem to indirectly link feminism to things as diverse as 're-distribution of wealth', the 'undermining of Nixon', all the way to global warming (yes, I actually saw that on someone's board.) Somewhere in the convoluted logic, the connection to feminism is lost; that is a strong hint that they are not much concerned as MR's but merely have a political agenda.
I couldn't agree more with the last two comments.
Norm,
Agreed. That is why I stated that what I wrote tailored more towards the Gender Feminist camp.
If you pay attention to the stories on this site, the majority of those who diminish false rape claims, as well as the majority of those who file them, are white and in their 20's. So maybe it should have been stated as 'privileged identity group' instead of groups.
While the majority of feminists are liberals, the majority of liberals aren't feminists. They are just afraid to buck those that are, as they know they will get raked through the mud.
The MR movement isn't all conservative, or all liberal. It is a mixture of all political ideologies. That, in the end, is what will make it a force that is hard to defeat. Gender Feminists can't attack it on poilitical grounds because of the mix, and that strips away the veneer, and lays bare their ture issue - disgust/hatred of men.
"While the majority of feminists are liberals...."
I don't agree. I believe most feminists are leftists. I've always considered myself a liberal and while I was in college, I was absolutely blasted by academic feminists as a right-wing conservative just because I disagreed with their viewpoints and values. I was painted as a contributor to the patriarchal system. They've got all the bases covered.
