South Cerney's Tracey Knowles denies false allegation of rape after meeting ex-boyfriend in Bar Code
A CIRENCESTER man's night of "no holds barred" sex with his ex-girlfriend ended in a nightmare when she falsely accused him of rape.
Tracy Knowles, 20, of Beverstone Rd, South Cerney, denies doing an act tending or intending to pervert the course of justice by making a false allegation of rape between June 15 and 18 last year.
Gloucester Crown Court heard that Alexander Warren, 25, had met Knowles at Cirencester’s Bar Code on June 13 last year. They went back to his house and had consensual sex.
But the court was told Knowles later reported the matter to police saying she had been raped.
Mr Warren contacted Knowles through Facebook and she stated "it might have slipped out about you raping me but I wasn't being serious" the court heard.
He was arrested and spent 21 hours in custody before being released without charge.
The trial continues.

I dont know what its like in the U.S, but the women in England are out of control.
Why does the TV keep saying women never, ever lie about rape. Why would they lie about something like that??ablamb
Scott, I believe its because most men believe it is in their interest to go along with it, and take the risk that it wont be them that is accused of either rape, pedophilla, violence or whatever else women and the feminists like to brand men as.
I believe the animal subconcious of the male wants to see their competition out of the picture.
Also If they complain, they are afraid that women will then target them.
Men subconciously know that they could be cast out of society, lose their friends and reputation at the whim of females, and so they go along with it.
They just hope that if they keep their head down and dont make waves, it will be some other guy and not them.
But its now getting to epidemic proportions. No man is safe anymore. Too many innocent men are being vilified, and men cannot continue to turn a blind eye because they are starting to realize it may be then next.
Steve, I believe it is misguided males of the Baby boomer generation, that are completely in disconnect with how they have fomented violence by enabling girls/women to lie in our courts, whenever they want.
If i were the judge, women and girls would be held equally accountable if they lie in courts, and in police reports. Those judges that do not hold women equally accountable under the law, should be removed from the bench.
I'm a baby boomer and I didn't foment anything, thank you. Other baby boomers like Warren Farrell, Glenn Sacks, and Ned Holstein have not fomented anything either - except the men's rights movements.
