Off-topic: Hotels that discriminate against men
Our friends who run The Pittsburgh Men's Blogging Society posted this great piece earlier today -- it underscores that men can be discriminated against without anyone even noticing it. Take a look.

Ok, that is just disgusting. What's next....Women only colleges? What? Already happening? Why.....that's discrimination. And I was under the impression that it was illegal to discriminate due to gender.
Oh.....sorry.....I forgot. Only men are allowed to be discriminated against because for some reason, we are historically responsible for the oppression of women since the garden of eden. What's that you say? Eve took the first bite and got man cast out? Minor detail we will just have to ignore.
Sorry for joking around about this, but this is the hypocrisy of modern feminism. And it is why I refuse to take any woman who claims she is a feminist, seriously, or show any respect. You can't respect someone who's an ID-10-T
Pathetic. This is pure discrimination; pure demonization of men.
Next thing you know they'll have womens only hours at Harvard's gym, oh wait thats already happened...
What else is new? This isn't the first time there's been something like this.
This may appear to be a "safety issue used to justify discrimination", but that is a mask. This has to do at bottom line, with the complete separation of women from men in our society. One of the more erstwhile goals of ideological feminists - actually, it is their *ultimate* goal.
p.s. wolfboy69, the serpent convinced Eve to partake of the tree, but then she first offered the apple to Adam. Of course the serpent must have been a male one.
"These women work hard" yeah, when it comes to excluding men. A man already has no rights when it comes to his children, or his wallet, or his freedom. What's next? Mandatory castration?
Gentlemen, It is past time for men to speak up and speak out in public and elsewhere. To quote MLK jr," our lives begin to end when we remain silent about things that matter". I am constantly hitting the blogs and posting news stories involving men's and father's rights. One of my favorite places is topix.com. Ifind plenty of items to start discussions about. You can do the same. Most of the reports I post about, and cite my sources, are found at Mensactivism.org. I also visit a blogging site that seems to be in need of members. It is : orgformen.org. Ihope my posting the link to these sites does not violate any rules here but, it is important for all men to unite and speak out!
And it is time to stop allowing our rights to be sacrificed on the altar of victim politics.
Norm....thanks....that still puts the woman in the hotseat. :)
My wife and I were talking about this, and she had an interesting idea....
She would make a reservation at this place, and let me know the room number....I would show up a couple of days later, and see if they would allow me in the same room on one of these floors.
or
She gets a room....after her trip, she tells me what the room number is and I call to try to get a reservation for the same room. How would they handle it?
Both would be interesting to try.
Wherever we go we should get some ideas about that place like hotels, people etc...It will be useful for you in future...
