Four month investigation reveals no rape ever occurred

Kudos to the police in the new story printed below. First, they took the charge of sexual assault very seriously. They conducted a four-month investigation. Second, when they determined no such assault occurred, as is not uncommon, they charged the false accuser with filing a false report. As was appropriate.

Women need to learn that crying rape is as serious as anything they could ever do. If the police had arrested an innocent man, his life would have been destroyed. Because of her lie.

And thankfully the news account does not bother to apprise us of her deep, dark psychological reasons for lying about such a serious matter. Nor does it include the usual chiding lectures from police about how her lie could harm innocent women. We have previously explored that topic here: "How women became the victims of a crime that only targets men: False rape claims in the feminist rape culture"

Here is the news story:

Falsely reporting rape charged

GARRATTSVILLE _ A 35-year-old woman was arrested by deputies Sunday and charged with making a false report of a sexual assault.

April M. Brimmer called 911 on Jan. 24 and reported that an unknown man armed with a handgun broke into her home and sexually assaulted her, according to a media release from deputies.

A four-month investigation ensued that included an extensive search of her residence by deputies, including a K-9 unit. However, investigators determined no incident had occurred, deputies said.

Brimmer was charged with third-degree falsely reporting an incident, a misdemeanor and was released to appear June 11 in New Lisbon Town Court.
